Zhong Yue was in the status of attaining Dao, just like what Dong Ah explained—Zhong Yue was now infinitely near the Dao.

As the array formation was activated, four walls were raised with watchtowers on each side. Along with the grand-looking gods, the Heaven Gate was truly a spectacular scene to behold.
Shi Yinji, Yu Bochuan, and the others rushed to the rescue, but they couldn't even get close to the array formation before an invisible force pushed them miles back from it.
Known as The Million Gods Suppressing The Heaven Gate, the array formation was solely created by Xi He. Beads of cold sweat rolled down Xi He's forehead as she mustered all of her might yet was still unable to follow Zhong Yue's speed.
"He is too fast!" Xi He said with dismay, "Every time, he appears at the point my array formation can't have reacted to instantly, I can't suppress him at all! Senior martial brother, what should we do now?"
But she was only partially right. Even though the strange movements allowed him to evade the array formation's overbearing pressure, it was still insufficient for him to avoid clashing with the gods in the array formation. If she had looked closely, she would see that his mortal body was shivering at a strangely high frequency that was in sync with the everchanging conditions inside of the array formation.
Zhong Yue, at this point in time, appeared to have even more profound attainments than Xi He in her own formation. It was as if he knew the changes and ways of the array formation like it was his own creation.
Suddenly, Dong Ah bolted into the array formation toward Zhong Yue while shouting, "Together we will break the flow of his movements!"
Xi He also followed behind, aiding Dong Ah in stalling Zhong Yue's movements while controlling the array formation at the same time.
Zhong Yue's movements were constantly changing, his body shivered even more vigorously and suddenly, he started moving his hands and legs as if he was dancing with the Heaven Gate as his stage.

A total of eight arms grew out from his body, making various kinds of hand seals while also warding off Dong Ah and Xi He's attacks. Moreover, he was able to counter their attacks and fight back!
