Zhong Yue's heart was troubled, he turned back and crawled on the ground with his four limbs. The moment he laid down on the ground, he transformed into the six-eyed Star Toad and released a loud roar, "Mang-gu——"

The insects were all blasted by the soundwave. Zhong Yue then took the Fuxi celestial form and slithered forward. Fire dragons burst out from his left sun eye and killed the incoming insects while water gushed out from the right moon eye and pushed the insect experts away from them.

He also waved the Golden Peng Sword around, killing the insect experts in front of them.

"Here!" Qiu Jin'er took over Zhong Yue and led the way.

Vines and tree branches paved the ground, stopping the insect experts from coming out from the ground as well as scouting out the path with the information feedback to her by the vines and branches.

The underground space had many holes and tunnels all over the place, some were dead ends, and some were filled with insect experts. However, there were a few which were suitable for them to escape now.

Qiu Jin'er was the Innate Wood Spirit Body; it was her natural ability to be able to control wood. With just a thought, she was able to plant wood in the ground and extend them deep into the tunnels.

As soon as she found the right tunnel for them to leave through, she shouted, "This way!"

Zhong Yue and the others quickly followed her instructions. Fang Jiange led the team at the front while Gu Hongzi covered the back preventing any ambushes from behind.

Before Zhong Yue entered the tunnel, he turned back and looked over at the lady. The mother insect god was also looking him, a bright ray flashing across her eyes.

Zhong Yue dispersed his Fuxi True Form and entered the tunnel, leaving a pile of insect corpses on the ground.

You are a Fuxi … an honorable Fuxi. Yet, here you are with the insects … leading them to the Ancestral Star … Why?,  Zhong Yue was puzzled.

He racked his head for a possible explanation but came up with nothing, he couldn't quite accept it and wished with all his might that it wasn't true. He couldn't accept the fact that the first Fuxi he met would be standing opposite him on the battlefield… against the Fuxi Celestial Race!

He felt betrayed, betrayed by his own kind.

Zhong Yue had met many gifted humans, but none were able to be considered as a Fuxi.

Feng Xiaozhong had awakened more than 10 percent of the Fuxi blood, but only activated the divine heart and divine bones, he hadn't attained the Fuxi True Form.

Xuan Yuan also awakened about 10 percent of the Fuxi blood since the day he was born. But most of the blood in him that was awakened was the Leizhe Clan's blood, which was also why he couldn't activate the Fuxi True Form either.

Feng Wuji chose a path against humanity. Surely enough, he wasn't even qualified to be called a Fuxi. Although he was a Feng Clan descendant, the Fuxi blood in him was only three percent awakened at the most.

Qiu Jin'er cultivated the powerful [Nuwa Visualization Art] which refined the Fuxi blood in her. But she was also only as good as Feng Wuji.

Thus, only Zhong Yue and this mother insect god could be said to be bona fide members of the Fuxi Celestial Race. Zhong Yue had awakened over 20 percent of the Fuxi blood in him while this mother insect god was a pureblood Fuxi!

Yet, she was now commanding a planet of insects on a warpath to destroy the Ancestral Star. This was something Zhong Yue could never accept!

Ancestral Star was only called Ancestral Star because it was the star where the Fuxi Clan rose from. This was the origin of the Fuxi Clan and it was in this star the birth of the first Fuxi taken place!

Not only that, but this was also the star to where all the Fuxi Heavenly Monarchs would return to be buried. This was the Ancestral Star that was revered as sacred in every Fuxi's heart!

"Some naughty snacks are slipping away from the dining table?" An insect god saw Zhong Yue and the others escaping into a tunnel. His eyes flashed, and just as he was about to go after them, the High Mother said, "Lou Xie, you are to stay for a more worthy opponent. They are not worthy of being pursued by gods."

She shook her head and said, "Only a few Qi Practitioners, the kids have already been waiting for a long time to feast. Leave these few toys for them to play around with, let them have their own fun hunting for their food. You are to stay for the Ancestral Star gods."

Other than Zhong Yue and company, the Kun Peng magnate, dragon magnate, and Lang Qingyun also fought their way through the swarming insects alongside a few other experts. They all entered a tunnel and ran for their lives.

The other Qi Practitioners weren't that lucky anymore. They were trapped in the center of the swarming insects and in just a few moments, they were all reduced to skeletons.

Nearly 3000 Qi Practitioners from the Ancestral Star, all of whom that were Inner Core and above were already dead. Only 35 of the over thousands managed to survive but the hunt wasn't ending just yet.

"Now, the hunt begins!" Princess Jin Xiu and the other insect Qi Practitioners guffawed with happiness. They each selected their prey and rushed out in pursuit. The experts swarmed out and said loudly, "These experts are ours!"

"Kill them! Eat them!" In the underground of the insect planet, there were holes everywhere. It was like a planet-size ant's cave, with holes and layers and tunnels everywhere.

Every hundred mile of land, there would be an underground space, some were the insect markets, and others were insect tribes. They even had their own underground insect cities here. The underground was where the majority of the insects lived.

Other than those, there were also the insect temples and palaces where the dead insect god's godly spirits were enshrined and worshipped by the insect race.

Zhong Yue and the others were traveling from tunnel to tunnel. The insect Qi Practitioners behind them were also getting larger in number with every second and were swarming at them like bees chasing after running honeys.

Qiu Jin'er was placing down the vines and tree branches deep in the ground, seals and traps inside of the tunnels as they traveled across. These vines and tree branches would burst out when the insect Qi Practitioners flew past them, killing the insect experts and stalling them from behind!

The wood element was in fact, good at tangling and stalling the enemies. With Qiu Jin'er being the Innate Wood Spirit Body, a Heavenly Dharma Qi Practitioner and a cultivator of the Nine Revolving Inner Core, her cultivation base and prowess were incredibly strong. Making her the perfect candidate to stall the hunters chasing behind them.

Some of the unlucky insect Qi Practitioners would be killed on the spot and those who survived would be entangled by the wood to gradually bleed to death. These vines and tree branches sealed the whole tunnel away, forcing the insects to destroy the wood standing in their way before they were able to continue their pursuit.

As the wood was eaten away and the insect experts were about to continue chasing them, Qiu Jin'er stomped on the ground.
