Chapter 373 - Death of the Demon Saint (1/2)

At the top of Desolation City, the demon magnate Qi Practitioners' and even the saint clan clan masters' expressions drastically changed as they became lost for words.

"He still has the Demonic God Blood Charm!" Some of them shouted.

The Demonic God Blood Charms were a type of precious item created by Demon Saint in his previous life. Through this item, Demon Saint would be able to recover his strength back to the strength he possessed in his previous life, temporarily allowing him unfettered access to the overwhelming power he possessed in his previous life. "Seal!" shouted Zhong Yue as he poured a tremendous amount of power into the charm.

It was the God Sealing Charm left behind by the old ancestor of the Xiao Mang Celestial Race! As the power of the charm was unleashed, the two charms' power collided, forming a huge "封" character in the air and manifesting a gigantic demonic god apparition.

When the two horrendous powers erupted, the apparition became neutralized bit by bit, causing it to become smaller and smaller.

Then, both Zhong Yue and Demon Saint were sent flying away by the impact of each others' attacks, and they both crashed into the desert underneath them.

Zhong Yue struggled to get up, and he heaved a few violent coughs while looking towards the spot Demon Saint crashed. He was also struggling to get up as he was coughing out blood as well while looking towards Zhong Yue.

Not far away from them was a huge crater that was extremely big and deep while the sands were slowly falling into the hole.

Molten lava could be seen in the deepest part of the hole, and it seemed as if a demonic god was slumbering beneath its depths that constantly stirred the lava, causing it to flow.

And the fiery larva in the hole flowed in a direction that coincidentally also formed the word "封."

Meanwhile, the godly and demonic aura in the bottom of the massive crater continued to intensify as the two charms continued colliding with one another, both of them struggling to overwhelm the other.

Suddenly, Zhong Yue coughed out a mouthful of blood, and he immediately frowned as his own power was also being sealed away by the God Sealing Charm.

Out of his expectations, the charm was something that applied to both parties, hence, whoever was in its area of coverage would have their powers sealed, regardless of whether or not they cast it in the first place!

Zhong Yue's heart quickly thumped as he could not maintain this state for much longer. And after battling with Demon Saint for so long, he was about to be forcibly taken out of this state already!

"Hahahaha!" Demon Saint spat out some blood from his mouth and pointed towards Zhong Yue, hysterically laughing to the point he was no longer able to stand.

Zhong Yue hmphed and quickly rushed towards Demon Saint while Demon Saint got up and said with a smirk, "I know that your charm is used for sealing purposes, so I intentionally baited you into using it so that both of our hands would be tied! Without the sealing charm, you will have one less aid in the battle! So what if your psyche is stronger than mine? With yours and my psyche sealed, your inferior body will be no match against me!"

He quickly walked towards Zhong Yue and turned into a demon with three heads, six arms and eight legs as his body twisted around. With his eight legs, Demon Saint moved as fast as lighting, using his own body as his weapons and raining down a series of attack towards Zhong Yue. "My body has undergone countless refinement. Totem carvings were melted into my blood, bone, skin, and organs. How could your pathetic human body dream to fight against mine? The duration may not last long, but it will be more than enough for me to kill you!"

Now, with their psyche completely sealed away, they were left with just their own bodies as their only weapons from this point forward.

"Perhaps not!"

Zhong Yue inhaled deeply, stimulating the dormant energy in his body. Drastic changes then occurred in his physiology! Six arms grew out from under his original two arms, and he turned into a 30 feet tall giant. Then, the two now gigantic Qi Practitioners charged toward each other, relentlessly throwing punches and kicks at each other and mutually inflicting severe injuries on each others' bodies.

Demon Saint stood on one leg while he flung his other seven legs towards Zhong Yue, landing ten continuous kicks on Zhong Yue that made the latter's flesh tear apart from the force.

Suddenly, Zhong Yue swung his snake tail, and trapped Demon Saint's eight legs and slammed him hard onto the ground!

He then curled his tail and hung Demon Saint upside down before launching a rapid volley of punches at him with his eight arms while Demon Saint retaliated with his six arms. The only things that could be seen from the exchange were the afterimages of their fists moving at a ghostly speed.

"Get lost!"

Demon Saint shouted as he applied strength to his legs, freeing himself from Zhong Yue's tail. Immediately, the two of them moved around the desert quickly. And after Zhong Yue gained the upper hand, Demon Saint then quickly jumped up into the air with Zhong Yue following closely behind him. Unlike Demon Saint, Zhong Yue's snake tail gave him a significant advantage in the air as his body was able to move like a slithering dragon.

This was all because flying was one of the gifts that were intrinsic to the Fu Xi Celestial Race. Even without cultivating, they were all able to fly in the skies and burrow through the ground from birth.

Initially, Demon Saint thought that Zhong Yue could not fly because of his snake-like lower body. But to his dismay, Zhong Yue was even better than him at flying!

Zhong Yue charged straight towards Demon Saint and said, "No other race other than the innate gods possess a stronger body that a human body. So stop saying that you demons have superior physiques to humans!"

The two then continued to fight ferociously with each other, and they fell straight down onto the ground when Zhong Yue wrapped his snake tail around Demon Saint's legs, which immobilized not only Demon Saint, but also himself.

Underneath them was the center of the huge pit hole, where the two charms' powers erupted. Even right until now, the powers of the two charms were still struggling to overcome each other as the battle progressed.

With the intense conflict between the two talismans, no one knew what was going to happen to the two of them once they fell into the bottomless pit hole underneath them.

The two of them were still rapidly exchanging blows as they fell down from the sky. Zhong Yue suddenly stretched out his six arms and grabbed onto Demon Saint's arms while swinging his other two arms toward Demon Saint's neck.
