Chapter 191 - Yang Fish (2/2)

The sunfire was incredibly strong, even from afar, Zhong Yue's Great Sun Golden Crow Yuan Shen could still feel the unbearable heat!

"My Great Sun Golden Crow Yuan is the spirit of the sun, don't you think of refining me with the sunfire!"

The Great Sun Golden Crow flared out its wings, just when it was about to fly into the fire ocean, two white light beams shot out and thrusted at it. Right away, he quickly fluttered the wings and twisted its body while the two light beams slid past the sides of his body, tearing away dozens of Golden Crow feathers with it!

"What a cunning brat, hiding these two rays of sun fire behind the fire ocean!"

These two beams of sunfire were shot out by that Yang fish from its eyes, hidden in the fire ocean. If it were not because Zhong Yue had noticed it earlier, his Yuan Shen would be slain dead by now!

These two beams of sunfire were different from the other sunfire – they had undergone countless rounds of tempering and refining within the Yang fish to become its weapons. It was akin to the soul weapons and Sword Qi of the Qi Practitioners. When it was launched at him unexpectedly, Zhong Yue's life was nearly reaped!

The three-taloned Golden Crow broke through the heavy and thick fire ocean before him, flying to the top of the Yang fish and clawing onto its back. It then raised its beak out and pecked down!

While all of a sudden, the fins on the fish's back flared out like a fan, bristling upright like sharp spears —Chi chi chi— nearly perforate through him!

The three-taloned Golden Crow quickly released the Yang fish and flew away, fluttering its wings and shooting out the feathers like swords. In a trice, hundreds of sword feathers had pierced through the Yang fish.

The Yang fish released a cry in pain and its body was sliced into pieces, Zhong Yue flared his wings over and sucked all of the fish meats into his mouth piece by piece.

While the other remains that had yet to be sucked away started squirming and morphing into small and little Yang fish, extending their fins out and retreating away into the lava lake below.

Zhong Yue's Yuan Shen ate the fish meats, immediately, he could feel surges of heat energy deluging his body, filling him with the strong and immense Yang Qi as it rushed over towards his Yin Yang Realm, strengthening the sun in the realm!

"This is indeed faster than just absorbing the Yang Qi in the air!"

Zhong Yue was surprised and overjoyed with a slight surge of regret lurking in his heart, Sadly, this Yang fish is too strange, it can still splinter off into so many smaller fishes to run away despite having been sliced into pieces….

Just as he thought about it, the lava lake beneath him started to swirl violently, the sounds of boiling water could be heard and all of a sudden, countless huge and giant Yang fishes leaped out with their fins extended, assaulting right at him, suffusing the air with the burning heat of sun!

Their eyes brightened up and innumerable streams of refined sunfire were blasted out right at Zhong Yue!

Zhong Yue was shocked, he quickly flared his wings and shot up into the upper air. Behind him, over hundreds of Yang fishes fluttered their fins and chased after him at a great speed, while the sunfire rays were besieging him as they slashed, sliced and thrusted over!

"Xin Huo, shouldn't there be only one Yang fish?" Zhong Yue asked while the three-taloned Golden Crow was evading the attacks incessantly, threading in between the gaps of the sunfire rays like lightning.

Xin Huo heard him, blinked his eyes and answered, "I never said there was only one in the Yin Yang Realm, this lava lake is so huge and the Yang Qi here is so abundant, it is indeed possible for this place to give birth to more than one of them…."

"Merely fishes, how dare you all obstruct me! Wu Xing Secret Realm, open!"

Zhong Yue yelled and the Wu Xing Wheel emerged behind the Yuan Shen, slamming down the power of the five elemental Qi, —Wongg— suppressing the air above one of the Yang fishes, tossing it off balance and hence, falling down from the sky.

"Wan Xiang Secret Realm, open!"

Zhong Yue bellowed in anger, casting the Wan Xiang Realm and glutting himself with the almighty power of the myriad to bring his strength and speed to a new level.

The three-taloned Golden Crow flared out the golden wings and pounced down right at the falling Yang fish suppressed by the Wu Xing Wheel. The Yang fish extended out its fins, slashing through the air like swords trying to break through the suppressions of the Wu Xing Wheel, then it recalled back its two sunfire rays, —Chi chi— slicing the Wu Xing Wheel into half.

In the time it broke through the Wu Xing Wheel, the three-taloned Golden Crow had already reached it. Spreading its wings, it sliced down heavily, cutting the giant fish into three pieces!

The Golden Crow released a shrill cry, clawing and grasping onto the fish head before flying away. Meanwhile, the other two fish segments had turned into two smaller Yang fishes and flew away. The other Yang fishes swarmed over but they were too late, countless sunfire rays blasted in the air while Zhong Yue had long flown away with the fish head.

He ate the fish head down and instantly, Zhong Yue could feel his Yin Yang Realm expanding once again, however, the Yang Qi in the secret realm was too excessive, overpowering the Yin Qi, and there was fire that leaked out from his body.

Thankfully, his Golden Crow Yuan Shen also required the nourishments of the Yang Qi – the excessive Yang Qi that leaked out was absorbed away by the Great Sun Golden Crow, strengthening his sun spirit.

Zhong Yue then made use of the trick and ate another few Yang fish; the Great Sun Golden Crow Yuan Shen was getting stronger and stronger, soon, there were signs of the third form of the Yuan Shen beginning to open!
