Rahz was ready to intervene and help Xiao kill the a.s.sailant but the moment he heard the anger in his friend's voice, he backed up and gave him some s.p.a.ce. In Xiao's eyes, the gourmet was but a youngster that had a little bit of talent and after having just a little success had lost the respects for his ancestors.

The gourmet didn't lose any time and started to run in all fours despite having a humanoid body and when he was in striking range, he activated the skill Feral Frenzy that allowed him to attack his target 5 times non stop while sending five shadow claws every time he swiped.

Xiao looked at his target with disdain and was determined to crush him under his feet, he was the child of nature and had being granted the status of king by the realm. Xiao activated 2 skills at once Savage Roar increasing the damage of all his skill to another level followed by Whirlwind that encased him in a giant tornado that defend him from all attacks.

The Whirlwind was pretty ma.s.sive and although it was not 100% impenetrable, if the gourmet wanted to damage Xiao, he had to take damage as well.

Rahz and the others that were observing the fight thought that there was no way that the panther looking humanoid would be dumb enough to get inside what it looked like a death trap but they were wrong.

The gourmet's eyes were bright red and just when he was about to smash against the wind wall he disappeared into a shadow and cross the threshold without getting hit.

Elune gasp at the sight and try to cast a ward on Xiao but Rahz quickly stopped her and shook his head. The fight they were observing was about pride and respect, and receiving outside help could create a heart demon and tarnish his reputation. This att.i.tude was something that Elune didn't understand and thought off as a stupid thing that had no value if he was dead, however, it was the animal kingdom and it was Xiao's duty to defend his throne.

Thanks to their soul transfer, Rahz had also experience Xiao's live and knew just how strong he was and in Rahz opinion the panther looking humanoid was like a child in front of an Adult.

Xiao didn't panic when he saw his opponent disappeared into the shadows and even sneered while the Tiger marks that seem to be moving around his body came to live and shot towards the shadows trying to impale the gourmet.

Everything happened really fast and the gourmet saw himself between a rock and a hard place but decided to leave the shadows even if it meant catching the tail of the Whirlwind. Feral Frenzy went off and shadow claws came cras.h.i.+ng towards Xiao that recalled some of his markings to defend further but still got cut.

The Damage received by the panther from the Whirlwind was a lot more than what he was able to inflict on his opponent so he activated the Skill Survival Instinct that decreased the damage taken by a large margin and move out of the tornado but not before receiving a few more wounds.

”AHHHH how Sweet!!” said the Gourmet while licking Xiao's blood that was smeared on his claws.

WIND BLADES!

Xiao pressed the attack with a plethora of blades that the Gourmet evade it with very nimble movements while laughing and yelling at the top of his lungs.

”I CAN TELL ALREADY, YOU ARE GOING TO BE DELICIOUS”

The comment made Xiao even more angry and the speed of Wind Blades increased even more, the zone itself was already a flat land with trees and even Rocks cut neatly in two.

The Gourmet's agility was really tested in the fight and just when he least expected his opponent started das.h.i.+ng towards him and became a bolt of lightning heading straight for him.

The Gourmet's pupils shrunk and he had no other choice but to meet his opponent's attack with the strongest attack on his a.r.s.enal PRIMAL WRATH…

The Gourmets muscles bulge and he slashed with both hands in a criss cross manner creating a distortion in the area as the Energy continued forward towards the incoming lightning.
