Don't let go of me, you're all I have left
”That's me. When I was young, my name was Yu.”
Mu Yuntian saw through the little girl's thoughts with a glance and patiently explained.
Mu Yuntian's gaze made it impossible for him to avoid his gaze.
”Do you know this woman?” Wen Xin pointed to the girl in the photo and said.
This woman was Zhao Xinyi, she would not forget that face.
Mu Yuntian shook his head and continued to speak: ”This photo seems to be taken during a holiday, but I can't remember.”
”Do you remember the Zhao Xinyi that I mentioned to you before?”
Mu Yuntian nodded his head: ”Remember to ask me if I know her after leaving the villa?”
Wen Xin nodded and looked at the woman in the photo: ”This is Zhao Xinyi.”
It was only then that Mu Yuntian realised. So this person was Zhao Xinyi, but he did not have this woman in his memories.
The dean walked over just in time.
Wen Xin picked up the photo, looked at the Principal and asked: ”When did you take this photo?”
The dean took the photo, looked at the date on it and said, ”This! This was taken more than 20 years ago when a female star came here to donate. ”
The dean's expression did not look abnormal. Wen Xin thought so. But was Zhao Xinyi really that kind to donate to this orphanage?
Looking at Wen Xin's expression, the dean asked worriedly, ”Are you unwell?”
Wen Xin shook her head: ”I'm fine, Dean you go back to work first!”
”What is Zhao Xinyi's relationship with you? You seem to hate her. ” Mu Yuntian looked at Wen Xin and asked.
He frowned. He didn't like the feeling of being trapped in a valley. He didn't want to touch her past, but sometimes it was as if he wanted her to tell him.
For example, he could not figure out how she was feeling right now.
Wen Xin looked at Mu Yuntian and said faintly: ”She's my stepmother.”
Her voice was very soft. If he wasn't sitting next to her, he wouldn't have heard it at all.
”Let's talk about it when we get back!” Wen Xin said as she wiped away the tears on her face.
She still couldn't get out of that memory. She thought that she could calmly talk about that past, but she discovered that she was only lying to herself.
Whenever she touched those memories, her thoughts could not help but be pulled into the vortex of them.
The Headmaster, who was not far away, looked in their direction with a complicated expression before lowering his head again.
Mu Yuntian gently embraced Wen Xin's thin shoulder, his expression somewhat pained.
He could even feel her body trembling weakly.
That memory must have been cruel to her, or it wouldn't have been.
”Yun Tian, don't let me go. You're the only one left.” Wen Xin muttered, and spoke softly, as though he was talking to himself.
