Chapter 20 - Trainer Ceremony Pt 2 (2/2)
”The name is Zane. Yours?” He asked as he presses his car key to lock his Lamborghini. Zane can only imagine how pissed of Giovanni was after he lost everything!The old bastard must not have a clue who stole all of his money, pokemon, and sports car! Zane really was a badass. When he used his Yakuza mentality no one could stop him.
”My name is Sonia. A p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you! And your awesome looking pokemon! Can I touch it!?” Sonia goes to pet Ryakko with hearts in her eyes. She loved how fierce, rare, and powerful Ryakko looked with its dragon horns and wings fused with a tiger cub's body.
Zane quickly grabs her hand. Sonia blushes, ”Um... That was fast,” She giggled, she thinks Zane was making a move on her. ”Why can't I touch your pokemon?” She asked with furrowed brows.
”Trust me you don't.” Zane sternly says and lets go of Sonia's soft hands. 'Maybe I should keep Ryakko in his pokeball. But he hates being in there,' Zane sighed. He didn't want to confine any of his pokemon, actually, he wanted them all free to do their own things and explore the outside world of pokemon! If a pokemon was trapped in its pokeball then it would lose it's mind! Pokemon need to be out in the open sometimes.
”It is time to choose your starter pokemon. Chose any Pokeball at random,” Professor Oak opens up a glass case that held a line of pokeballs.
Ash, Gary, Amber, Daisy, Sonia, and Zane all were the ones who were going to chose starter pokemon. Gary had already chosen his pokemon so he waits for everyone else to chose there pokemon, but that didn't stop him from bragging.
”HA! Early bird gets the worm Ash loser! Or should I say A.S.S Ketchum! There is no powerful pokemon left! All of you get the leftovers! Hahaha!” Gary points at Ash and Zane.
Zane again ignores Gary's dumbass words and waits for other trainers to get their starter pokemon. He already knew that Professor Oak had a special starter pokemon waiting for him.
Ash, Daisy, Sonia, and Amber all pick their starter pokemon.
Ash was left with no Pokeball since the girls picked up the pokeballs faster than him! He was paying attention to Gary's cruel words!
”There is no pokeballs left! That is no fair! Please, Professor, give me any pokemon!” Ash begs Professor Oak as he tugs at his lab coat.
”I am sorry Ash but there are no pokeballs left. However, I do have one pokemon I can give you that no one wanted,” Professor Oak rubs his chin with hesitation, he really didn't trust Ash with any pokemon.
”ANYTHING! I WILL TAKE IT! I WILL REACH MY DREAM OF POKEMON MASTER!” Ash shouts with an annoying high-pitch voice.
'He really is hopeless. I guess he is getting Pikachu,' Zane looks at Ash begging Professor Oak like a loser.
Professor Oak now turns his attention to Zane, ”Your pokemon is in the back,” Professor Oak said to him as he took out special keys.
”What!? He gets his own special pokemon! That is bullcrap! Only I get the best pokemon!” Gary yells as he angrily spins around his starter pokeball on his fingertip with hatred for Zane.
Professor Oak ignores Gary and guides Zane to a hidden area in the lab.
”This pokeball right here is a prototype. No one has ever used this pokemon because no was able to summon the pokemon out of the pokeball. I think you can be the one who does. But be warned. This isn't any ordinary starter pokemon.” Professor Oak says as he gulps and hands a black and red pokeball to Zane.
”I am ready. I can take on anything,” Zane grabs the pokeball. His destiny awaits him.
