Chapter 7 - Madisen (1/2)

”Madisen looks so beautiful tonight.”

I think to myself as I watch her climb out her window.

Her brown hair is flowing in the wind as she jogs to my car.

As soon as she's in, her smile lights up the car like the Fourth of July.

”River!”

Madisen says and snap her fingers.

”Yeah, what's up?”

I ask as I shake my head and quit zoning out.

”I told you, I just wanna go for a ride, nothing is gonna happen.”

She says with her eyes cut as she reaches for he handle.

”If that doesn't work for you, I'll hit up somebody else.”

I reach over and place my hand on hers.

”Mads, calm your a.s.s down and get in.

I say with a smile as I lean back and pull on my seatbelt.

”I have a spot that I've been saving to show you.”

I say with a smile as I look at her.

Madisen slowly leans back and calms down, before pulling on her seatbelt.

”Let's go.”

She says softly as she takes a deep breath.

I look over at her, ”We don't have to go, if you don't feel comfortable with me.”

I say softly as I look at her shivering body.

I pull off my jacket and hand it to her, ”Cover up before you get sick.”

”Just go before I change my mind.”

She says with a snarl as she leans back.

”Yes, Massa.”

I say under my breath as I start driving, noticing you snicker from beside me.

”So, where exactly are you taking me?”

She asks as she puts her feet up and looks out the sunroof at the fading stars.

”It's a secret spot that I've kept hidden from everyone, but I think you're gonna enjoy it.”

I say with a smile as I look over at her, then back at the road and turn left.

”What's so secret about this one? You've showed me at least twenty other secret spots.”

I just smile and hide how the comment kinda hurt before responding, ”I promise, this one is the best... If you don't like it, I won't take you to see anymore when you text, okay?”

She looks at me before nodding and moving her eyes back to the sky.

”Sounds good.”

I nod as I turn down a backroad and cut my lights off, before pulling into a hidden driveway and cutting the car off.

”What exactly are we doing here?

We're in the middle of the woods.”

She says as she starts to get kinda nervous and shifts in her seat.

”Madisen, please trust me just a little bit.”

I say softly as I reach into my pocket and pull out the blade I always carry, my karambit.

”The fastest way to take a man down with this is you jam it right here.”

I say as I hold the curved blade under my chin.

”Or, you jam it into their c.h.e.s.t and drag down. You'll hit enough vital organs to slow them.”

I say as I close the blade and hand it to her.

”Why are you giving that to me?”

She asks as she looks at the blade and then me.

”Because, you obviously don't trust me.

So, you'll be the only person armed here.”

I say softly as I place it in her l.a.p.

I nod before climbing out and slowly shutting my door, I walk around and open hers.

”Come on, we're gonna miss it.”

I say with a smile as I hold my hand out.

She slowly takes my hand and climbs out the car, before looking around then back at me.

”Let's go.”

We take off walking into the woods and I smile as we reach the spot I setup.

I point to where the air mattress is and pull out Starbucks along with donuts, before handing it to her and laying down.

”River, why'd you bring me out the middle of the woods to lay on an air mattress?

I told you nothing was happening.”

”Madisen, will you please shut the F.u.c.k up?

Honestly, if I wanted to try some shit, it would've been in the car.

Just shut the f.u.c.k up and don't ruin months of work.”

I snarl softly as I look over at her and then back at the field in front of us, seeing the sun start to rise in the background.

”RI-”

She goes to get loud with me.

I reach over and wrap my hand around her mouth, before looking into her eyes.

”Madisen wait ten seconds and have your phone ready.”

I say sternly as I look down.

She nods slowly as she pulls her phone out.

”5...4...3...2...1.”

I countdown slowly and smile as it starts.

I can hear the gasp and see her mouth drop.

The sun is slowly rising in the distance and coming out of the woods is a herd of deer.

First, the huge bucks slowly walk out into the field, followed by the does who start eating.

I watch her as she starts taking picture after picture, smiling as she almost squeals with happiness.

Finally, the fawns slowly walk out and start hopping around.

She's going crazy, taking picture after picture of the majestic scene in front of her.

I just sit back against a tree and slowly start to doze off, just happy that she's smiling for a moment.

I'm just about to doze off as I hear her voice.

”Daddy?”

Madisen's soft voice breaks the silence of the woods.

I open my eyes just a little bit and look at her.

”Mads, don't start with that teasing shit today.”

I say softly as I close my eyes again and lean back.

She gets on her hands and knees, starting to slowly crawl towards him.

She takes a deep breath as she stops at his feet.

”River, I'm sorry for being a bitch earlier, I'm not teasing you....

Please just ravage me.”
