Chapter 8 - Chapter.008 Battle training (2/2)
Everyone just watched with mouths so wide, it could be called a cave! What the hell man, weren't you live in modern times?!
”Silver, is that you?” Ban, the brave one asked
”The only one.” casually replied our mc
”You look great, Silver shounen! But unfortunately, we have a test to take!” as he said that, he started to walk to a house. ”This is going to be the place! This will be an indoor battle trial. Villain clean up is usually seen out in the open, but statistically, the better part of it is an indoor job. Most acts of villainy are committed indoors. Imrisonment...House arrest...Black market...In this hero-saturated society. You may wonder: Why? Because smarter and stronger villains are lurking in the shadows, never to be noticed. For this test, you'll be separated into 'hero' and 'villain' duos. For a two-on-two team battle!!”
So we are gonna be paired with each other randomly. Oh somebody asked the same question.
”You see, young shounen, pairing up with someone random in hero business was quite common.” Then he explained to us the rules and then we were asked to draw lots. I immediately got paired with Koji Koda, the quiet kid. We got team C.
”P.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to work with you.” I tried to communicate with the stone, and I can see his mouth moving, but I can't hear anything, so I got an idea...
)Yo. Do you hear me?( I simply asked him telepathically
)What the sweet mango?!( he screamed in his head
)Umm sorry, but I couldn't hear what you are saying, so I build a bridge telepathically, so we can speak!( I informed him and he just stares at me...
Before he can say- I mean, before he could think about an answer, we could hear All Might's voice saying, ”And the first two pars to be in combat will be...” then he draws two lots ”Team G as heroes and Team B villains!”
Team G is Andeddo Ban and Fumikage Tokoyami as heroes, while Team B is Izuku Midoriya and Tenya Iida as villains.
As Team B went to the building to start to prepare, and Team G is discussing the plan, we moved to a control room, with a big TV on the wall and small TVs around it.
”They discussing what their quirks do and started to form a plan, excellent work!” All Might happily sais while we are given time and a notebook to note down our strategies if we were the villains or heroes, so after this, they can evaluate our plans.
As they are almost finished discussing their plan, the time is up, so the hero team can start.
Ban and Fumikage started running towards the building, while Izuku and Tenya started to discuss what to do.
Ban and Fumikage are in front of the door, well, hole in the wall, and stared at it. While we are wondering what was going on, we could saw Ban lift his hand and said something, we couldn't hear. Then a purple aura started to form around him. We are dumbfounded at what we are seeing. Izuku and Tenya are starting to collapse, but they are conscious.
Ban has the ability, greed, which can absorb the enemy's power permanently and temporarily. He just used it temporarily.
Fumikage went in, took the stairs to the fourth level and searched for the good room. Once he find it, he went and 'deactivated' the bomb, thus winning the round.
Let's just say, we are dumbfounded at what we saw. Everybody's jaw almost dropped to the ground.
”Tha-That was it! Team G won by capturing the bomb!” All Might said after a few seconds, and with his voice, we snapped out of it. ”Now we wait until they come here, so please be patient.”
After 2 minutes everybody was present, All Might started with a question ”Well, I'd say the M.V.P. of this battle is Ban!” All Might then draw an another lot from the two boxes ”The next match will be fought by Team A as villains and Team I as Heroes!”
Team A was Shoto and Denki as villains while Momo and Toru as Heroes. It was pretty one-sided, if I want to be honest, Shoto just froze the building, this freezing Toru and Momo in place. Momo's turrets can't tolerate the absurd temperature change and explode.
All Might draw another one, ”The next match will be...”
