”Lilith-chan, can you help me with chores?”

”Yes, right away, Nanako-san. I'm still find it strange for you to let me stay in here for a few days. Is that really okay, Nanako-san?”

But she just brushed it off and waved her hands.

”It's okay and the more the merrier. Kosaki finally have a friend besides Ai-chan, as mother it made me happy and hope she get more new friend along it.”

”At least let me pay for free-loading in here, Nanako-san. I feel bad for doing nothing worthy.”

”Nah, you have nothing to worry about and you already helped me with chores and whatsnot.”

She said that without a slight of hesitation and full of trust on it to me. I can easily tell that because that's something I could do and always do in my life. She seems nice and maybe too nice, it will be bad if she became like that but I hope she are somone who also stritch so people won't be easily take advantage of her.

But like I have planned before, I'm planning to invest my money in her cakery. The sweets are delicious and fluffy, though the variety aren't the best. That was the problem in this store, even if I was promoting it in many ways.

Doing chores is something I always do since I was living alone. Unlike onee-sama who rarely doing that, she always let her familiar do the job like chores or anything, she can be truly being viewed as lazy person that only has her beauty and family powers for her pros. Moreover, onee-sama is too spoiled because of onii-sama, otou-sama, and okaa-sama.

Well, what you can expect from someone who lives her entire life surrounded with luxury and whatever she want always there. Unfortunately, I'm not becomes like that and truly grateful to avoid such thing. Even if I have money that never run out whatever or how much I spend, as much as I want, being spoiled is something I have to avoid.

Basked in luxury and look down on others is something old-fashioned.

After a few minutes doing chores and finished, I then take a break and being served sweets and orange juice by Nanako-san who also took a break just like me. Because of the curiousity, I then ask her something. Hope it won't be s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e for her.

”Nanako-san, I want to ask something.”

Hearing that, she then look at me with smile and nod her head.

”What are you wanna ask about, Lilith-chan?”

”Your cakery, can I investing to it? I'm currently interested about invest my money to your shop.”

She dumbfounded and her eyes widened when heard that, making Nanako-san clear her throat and ask me.

”Lilith-chan…? Invest your money to my shop? Do you know what you're currently said?”

”I already know and have the money for that. After tasting your sweets, I think it was better for me to invest it and watch how it growth. This way we can make your shop more famous and let everyone knew about the sweets of Onodera's family.”

What I've said is true though. It kind of disappointing if such a chance was being let go and wasted. The lack of creativity of this shop is the one who stopped their customers to come and some of new looks would be great for it. Although I knew that the shop are represented as traditional, but in the era which technology grow fast and became modern like this, Nanako-san and her daughter can't be outdated about it and let theirself being left behind.

Look like she think what I said carefully. Although it's a bit harsh, that itself was a fact that can't be denied by them and if they want to success in compete or want more customers, that is the way they can do. Create a new sweets and renovating the shop to suits for the era or maybe modify it a bit. Keeping the traditional atmosphere but added new severals thing to it.

Like a mixed of traditional and modern. It was good and definitely able to attract more customers, rather than rely on taste alone because if the place aren't good, then even if the sweets is delicious, it will decrease the moods of the customers who want to buy it from here.

Now, let's see what kind of answer she will give me. If she reject it, then I'll give up and support her as much as I can.

But what she did after that made me surprised. She nod her head and smiled at me.

”I think that will bring me benefits. Also, according to what you said earlier, Lilith-chan. It made me realized that we're left behind. Not only new variety of sweets, but the whole shop scream old and just rely on the traditional theme. If that's continued, I'm pretty sure we will bankrupt at ten years or so.”

This made me open-mouthed in disbelief. At first, I thought she would oppose and reject my offers, but look like she accept and understood the current situation they experience right now. But that's true anyway, according to my rough calculation, five or ten years is the time they will run out of business and going bankrupt.

”Are you sure about that, Nanako-san? Just to be clear, I only provide you with money and a several tips to make sure your shop can always continue to be profitable. In other word, I'm the one who aren't active or help you directly in the workfield.”

”I already knew that since you says about invest with money and it's up to me to increase the profit. You preparing the funds for us and we're the one who spent also manage it.”

She catch up of it quick. It made me glad and relieved that I won't explain it again. She understand all of it pretty good and can take it well. Hope she will bring her own shop to the road of success with my support too.

I just smiled in satisfication.

”Well, let's talk about something else. We can continue the business talk later, right, Nanako-san?”

She grin widely and nodded.

”You got that right. But honestly, I find it strange and awesome for you to have such money to invest it. I mean, to my shop? It's very shocking for me. Are you rich by any chance, Lilith-chan? You don't have to answer it, but I'm just curious.”

If I lie, it would be dumb and seems stupid since I have the money to investing. So I decided to answer it with the truth.

”Yes. It's not from my family, but my own money. What I use for investing is my own money and it's not like I want money again, but… something else. Something more valuable than money, though money also valueable.”

She blinked and began to think about it with curious also confusion.

”I get it. So that's what you want, huh…? You're smart for kid in your age, Lilith-chan.”

I just answer it with chuckle while she shows her smirk to me. She already guessed what I want. The thing that more valueable, far greater than money and it made someone get money so easily without wasting time. If you played it well, then you will gain a lot money without spending any cent of it.

Connection and trust.

That was the thing I want to gain. More superior than money. One of the factor and aspect for business is to gain trust and have connection. The more connection you have, the more easy for you to gain money. Also, it will increase the trust someone already make.

Even though there's a case where people trust each other with money. But it just temporary, not permanent and won't last long. I want long and permanent trust also connection with them. Nanako-san's cakery are the first step of it since sweets are popular with females, young, and teen.

And the target of course those three. Mainly are females, since they are always attracted to cute and sweet thing. Like me, as a girl I attracted to cute and sweet thing. Moreover if it delicious then it would be plus from me.

Both of us then laughing when stare at each other.

”Well, I'm looking forward to work with you soon, Lilith-chan.”

”Likewise and hope it going to end well, Nanako-san. Because I kind of like your cakery.”

She has slight blush when I said that with sincere smile.

”A-Ah, that's so? I'm gland then! Right, I'll do the rest of chores! Lilith-chan, you stay here and relax yourself.”

I'm nodded at that, but there's something I want to check outside though. Maybe I should go?

”Ah Nanako-san. I want to go outside for a bit. Want me to buy you something? For lunch and dinner, maybe?”

”No, but thanks Lilith-chan. Have fun and take care of yourself!”

I'm nodded and waved my hands to her when walk towards the house door and leave the Onodera's

residence.

”Thank you, Nanako-san!”
