With a booming sound, the divine giant dragon's body exploded, causing the flaming giant dragon to fly out from the impact.
The divine giant dragon immediately reassembled, but there was no longer a divine aura on its body. Rather, it appeared extremely evil.
”What an interesting creature!” The divine giant dragon used its tail to whip the flaming giant dragon. The wrestling of both sides resulted in an intense energy wave within the Mirror of Fate. The cracks on the surface of the Mirror of Fate that had just been restored were reopened.
”Fycro, you're a genius, but you are destined to fall,” Jason said coldly towards his powerful opponent.
Fycro was in low spirits, but in an instant, he roared with laughter and said, ”Jason, I'm also level-13. Your mage's mantra is ineffective towards me!”
”Is that so? You rely too much on the power of equipment, while I have focused on advancing myself. Apart from the magic amplifier, I don't rely on anything else. My determination to serve magic surpasses all disciples who serve their gods.”
”No need to burst my confidence. When I decided to become a god, I had already made preparations for my falling. Jason, you're a mage worthy of respect. Let's have a decisive battle here.”
”Decisive battle?” Jason laughed and said, ”Your Incarnation has already been held in check by my student and definitely cannot come to your aid. Are you really so confident you'll be able to defeat a mage of the same level who has a magic amplifier? I know that you have brought millions of disciples, but what about me? My magic amplifier can increase my power by more than 40 times. You will not be my match.”
”If that's the case, say no more!” Fycro's voice turned shrill. The Mirror of Fate in his hands suddenly split itself into three. One piece still had starlight wound around it. The evil aura inside appeared in a flash. Evidently, it could no longer be used. However, the other two Mirrors of Fate were blindingly bright.
Fycro coldly said, ”Fate includes the past, present, and future. You only destroyed my Mirror of the Future, whereas my main weapon is the Mirror of the Present.”
”Without a Weapon's Spirit, they're all garbage!” As Jason spoke, the Rings of Water and Fire combined. From within the rings, a big and tall giant walked out and snatched at Fycro's direction.
”A life without a past is a tree without roots...” Fycro recited a prayer. Holy light shot out from within the Mirror of the Past and enveloped the body of the Weapon's Spirit. Suddenly, the Weapon's Spirit became blurry, as if it would dissipate any moment.
”Only the present is eternal!” Once Fycro spoke his second sentence, holy light shot out from the Mirror of the Present and surrounded Jason. Jason suddenly felt he could not move, and could not even open his mouth to speak.
The Weapon's Spirit had been shone upon by the holy light. Its body suddenly cracked in two. One side was blurry and appeared as if it would collapse at any moment. The other was in a translucent state. It held the Elemental Blade in its hands and chopped at Fycro's third mirror.
With a shattering sound, the Mirror of the Future was completely broke into pieces.
Then the holy light of the other two mirrors immediately dimmed. Jason wriggled his body and broke free of the envelopment of the holy light. The other Weapon's Spirit also spewed flames all over its body and burned the holy light till nothing was left.
”Impossible!”
Fycro yelled in panic. Although he was only level-13, his holy light had a level-15 rule. It was a power he had stolen from the Lord of Glory.
”What a tragedy. You thought the rules of light were of a higher level than the rules of fire element?” Jason did not forget to ridicule Fycro. Fycro did not know why this mage's chiding was always so hard to bear. The power of the mage's mantra was always affecting his judgment.
”Unless you are a fire god!” Fycro released a low howl from his throat. He didn't believe his holy light would be destroyed by fire element.
”Becoming a god was never my goal. Fycro, I want to become an existence that surpasses the gods. Your death today is just a beginning,” As Jason spoke, two elemental snakes flew out from the Rings of Water and Fire and wrapped around Fycro.
”When I become a god, I'll destroy all magic spells. From birth, humans will have godly power. They will not need to labor or conquer, and will not need to serve magic.” Fycro mumbled, and his two mirrors once again shot out holy light. This time, however, Jason easily dodged them. The fire element Weapon's Spirit was not so fortunate and was once again caged in holy light.
The Rings of Water and Fire trembled slightly, and the two Weapon's Spirits returned into the Rings of Water and Fire. They were not under the control of the holy light.
”Within my territory, it's impossible for you to defeat me.” The elemental snake had already wrapped itself around Fycro's body, the surface of which was full of Holy Prose, but the two elemental snakes did not feel it at all. They forcefully constricted and strangled inward.
”When I become a god, only light will be eternal. Elemental! Destruction!” Fycro shouted loudly. The two elemental snakes wrapped around his body were immediately eliminated.
Jason's expression turned solemn. Fycro's will was steadfast, surpassing his expectations.
Mage's mantra was a strong magic spell. It was like Prophecy magic, but without its harming power of Prophecy magic. Such a magic spell could not be learned by every mage. Even in the ancient era, many level-18 mages did not know this magic spell.
Because Jason had cultivated a secret technique, his Power of the Soul was strong. After he had used the mage's mantra by chance, he repeatedly cultivated it. Finally, he studied this unknown magic spell until he became proficient in it.
It could not affect Fycro, however. There was already a divine boundary in Fycro's heart, which was the model for a divine kingdom. The strength of this pseudo god's spirit caused Jason to feel resigned.
