1294 Angel City Part 1 (1/2)

Saleen turned and went back to the floor above, but saw that Sika had fallen and descended instead.

Saleen released a white ball of lightning without any hesitation. It rushed out of the hole that he had corroded. A person who was capable of forcing Sika to retreat could only be level 11.

”Saleen, I'm fine!” Sika turned over and stepped on the triangular bone piece. Evidently, she was unhurt.

”What about the soul beast?”

”Above. It's a God Puppet. Be more careful.” As Sika spoke, a piercing whistling sound emitted from below her feet, and she once again rushed out of the hole. This time, she did not use the metal totem pole. The cost of using it was quite large for her. Her staff was the easiest to use.

Saleen used Jalin's movement skill, propped up the Water Shield, and rushed in front of Sika in the blink of an eye. He was prudent and summoned dozens of lightning puppets from the air to quickly come down to the ground and stand in front of him.

A large hand swept away the puppets and sent them flying, but its movements had been affected by the electric currents on the lightning puppets' bodies. Saleen took the opportunity to grab Sika and rush up to the surface, but saw a metal angel that was waving around a claymore and killing the Bug Angel Warriors.

There were very few Bug Angel Warriors, and they were unable to surround it. Saleen felt it was fortunate. If the metal angel encountered the Bug Angels, they would be able to suppress it. The warriors who were maneuvering the Bug Angel Armor did not have a sufficiently high level and did not have any means to deal with the higher lever metal angel.

The angel was not afraid of physical attacks, but elemental attacks were not the Bug Angel Warriors' strong suit. Fire elemental crystals could be added within these Bug Angel Armors.

Saleen was aware of the extent of the Bug Angel Armor's strength. Most magic spells below level 9 would be unable to rip it apart. If the warrior within the armor was not hit, the Bug Angel Armor would be able to continue fighting. However, with a stroke of the metal angel's sword, the Bug Angel Warriors would immediately be sliced in two.

”Let's go!” Saleen leapt onto the soul beast whose tail had been cut and flew upwards.

The metal angel saw that Saleen leaving and paused, as if it had received some commands. It threw aside the Bug Angel Warriors around it, jumped, and flew up, chasing after Saleen.

The soul beast's tail had been injured, but it did not affect its flight. With a flutter of its wings, it travelled a quarter of a kilometer. The metal angel dispersed the air, forming a visible pathway in the sky, and immediately caught up behind the soul beast.

Saleen returned a Sigh of the Earth. Under the effects of the magic amplifier, the level 9 magic spell became exceptionally powerful. It actually petrified the metal angel, causing it to fall towards the earth. Saleen did not stop, heading straight towards Grand Duke Iron Blood.

However, Grand Duke Iron Blood had not seen his actions. After attacking two warehouses, Saleen found the items that he wanted, and his thoughts of pillaging the city immediately weakened. He did not even want to capture the metal angel and left it for Grand Duke Iron Blood.

The metal angel fell to the ground and broke into pieces, but the petrification effect vanished. It had been an accelerated attack. Being able to petrify it had entirely been due to the efforts of Saleen's magic amplifier.

The fragmented metal angel was like liquid, and flowed along the ground and assembled once more. Once it got its bearing, then continued to chase after Saleen.

Grand Duke Iron Blood saw Saleen from a distance, Sika standing beside him and a gigantic metal angel releasing a Booming Sound behind him. He immediately understood Saleen's intentions.

”Many thanks.” Grand Duke Iron Blood summoned a rainbow dragon, and the item in his hands swapped to a red dragon spear. The rainbow dragon's body was much smaller, but its level was the same as the purple gold dragon. They had all been sealed at level 12.

With a flap of the soul beast's wings, they moved about 500 meters. The metal angel attacked fiercely a few times and failed. Saleen had made several turns before arriving where Grand Duke Iron Blood was to give Grand Duke Iron Blood time to prepare.

A rainbow colored radiance shone on Grand Duke Iron Blood's red colored dragon spear. The metal angel swayed slightly, and the rainbow dragon already rushed forth. The Grand Duke spear pierced through the head of the metal angel.

It was the first time Saleen had seen a dragon knight battle. He felt that the spear was more menacing than Nailisi's Grey Memory. The Grey Memory relied on the Silverline Golden Spearfish bayonet's inherent magic power, whereas the Grand Duke's spear focused all of the rainbow dragon's power. He was merely the person who aimed it.

Magic shields below level 12 would definitely be pierced by the spear. After Saleen made this evaluation, he attached even more importance on Grand Duke Iron Blood. If dragon knights were that intimidating, he could wrangle some more benefits from Alchemy City before leaving.

The originally powerful recovery ability of the metal angel was completely useless before a dragon knight. The red dragon spear contained the power of the rainbow dragon. The metal angel's body hardened, its wounds opened even more quickly, and its head broke into two pieces.

When hit by a dragon spear, they needed to resist the power of the giant dragon. After Saleen had looked, he smiled at Grand Duke Iron Blood and retrieved a sealing scroll. ”I need a giant dragon like this.”

The sealing scroll in his hands was level 11 and made of starline paper.

Grand Duke Iron Blood hesitated. ”I want 50 pieces!”
