1256 Darkness Territory Part 1 (1/2)

Even Theisio was surprised. With such reasoning and such emotions, it seemed as if Saleen had allowed himself to end up dancing in the palm of his hands.

He felt a bit brutal, but also a bit pleased.

Before, whenever he felt that he held all of the advantages in battle, Theisio would only feel the sacredness of the gods.

Sacredness was no more, he had been corrupted...

The feeling was so good!

Theisio began to laugh madly. For hundreds of years, he had been a slave. Once he had escaped and dropped the immense burden, Theisio felt like he was flying. Furthermore, in a situation where he had not used any skills, he really started to float, hovering above the Rough Stone of Darkness and getting a bird's eye view of the distant Saleen.

Even after losing a shield and an arm, Theisio was still in high spirits.

Saleen suddenly stopped and put away his clan badge. He released his magic amplifier - the Goddess' Necklace.

24 crystals hovered in the sky and there was a constellation shade in the middle, but it was the most marvellous power created by the Goddess' Necklace. It concealed the Lightning Constellation within a parallel space.

Even if the Lightning Constellation was currently not stable enough, no one would be able to attack it. Still, it could provide earth elemental power and lightning puppets to Saleen.

Saleen expanded his territory. He saw Theisio, who had been transformed into a monster. ”Pope, is that you?”

”It is me, Saleen. I'm sure you didn't think that I would turn into this state.”

”Mm. So you have a little bit of courage. I thought that the Holy See's people were all cowards,” Saleen replied calmly. Theisio had had one of his arms blown off by his clan badge and had no way to restore it, but his power was still great.

”Saleen, would you express anger towards an ant?” Theisio continued to smile, raising the warhammer in his hand.

The warhammer soared in the air towards Saleen. It connected to more than 100 shades . Each shade's attack power was equivalent to the level of a level 11 divine spell.

Bo...

The shades shattered. But the warhammer's attack was targeted at the Thundering Phantasms.

”Theisio, what happened to your intelligence?” Saleen cautiously maneuvered the phantasm and said to Theisio.

Theisio knew that Saleen's phantasm had its oddities. Even if his level was much higher than Saleen's, he did not dare to try using his mental power to identify which was the real Saleen and which was a phantasm.

”When one's power attains a certain level, all tricks will lose their effects.” Theisio said and pounded the second phantasm flat. With the warhammer in his hand, he engulfed the transformed shade. If it had been the real Saleen, with the swing of a hammer, he would have turned into a meat pancake.

Saleen was a mage and would not take any gamble. He would not test Theisio's intelligence. Hence, it was still a Thundering Phantasm. Under the pounding of Theisio's warhammer, the phantasm shattered. Theisio immediately pounded towards the third Saleen.

Saleen observed patiently. He saw the arm below Theisio's ribs. The great snake's eyes were pitch-black and darted everywhere from left to right. A magic pattern flowed within its pupils.

Was it related to the Elemental Eye?

The great snake shrieked, using its mental power to investigate Saleen's Thundering Phantasms and received a blow. The Thundering Sound resounded inside the great snake's brain. The great snake was powerful. Its head's seven orifices were all bleeding, but it did not die.

The Rough Stone of Darkness beneath Theisio's feet emitted a black colored mist that seeped into the great snake's body. The great snake's injuries were almost immediately healed.

Saleen was not dismayed. The Rough Stone of Darkness had increased Theisio's power. Healing the damage inflicted upon a soul was not a particularly strange matter either.

The stone was detestful. Perhaps only a power as great as the clan badge would be able to inflict injuries that could not be healed.

Evidently Theisio had also noticed. The Rough Stone of Darkness beneath his feet flew up and hovered.

”Saleen, there is a pathway below here. You can escape outside.” Theisio deliberately revealed the exit that led to the outside.

Saleen could not be bothered to pay him any mind. He simply used the Elemental Eye to observe how the great snake's injuries had healed.

If he left, he would have to pass below the Rough Stone of Darkness. No Thundering Phantasms would be able to conceal his body. What was truly strange was why Theisio would let him go.
