1196 Killing the True Might Part 2 (1/2)
The sea lay 1,500 kilometers to the east. The coast had already been sealed in ice. Saleen flew at a steady pace. The True Might saw that the person who had killed his son was able to fly a magical tower and immediately deduced Saleen's identity.
”Damn it. It was actually Metatrin's king!”
The True Might discovered the flying magical tower, and there was only one flying tower on the continent. Perhaps other people could create flying equipment, but they would not be able to move people's hearts as much as the Magical Element Tower.
He had heard rumors about Saleen. Even in the northern wilderness, Saleen's name was unmistakable. Ever since Metatrin Kingdom had been established, the power of the Holy See was no longer as pervasive in the northern wilderness. The barbarians who had escaped into the wilderness had slowly begun to leave. They had returned into Metatrin Kingdom's borders and led a decent life.
Many professionals were bitterly cultivating in the northern wilderness. The produce was not lacking, and it was sparsely populated. It was more suited for professionals who disliked loud and bustling places. Saleen had identified the presence of magical towers in the mountainous area before. Thus, although Saleen had not conducted a deep investigation of the northern wilderness, he also knew that the forces there were definitely not small.
However, it was ultimately a wasteland. The presence of forces was a result of dividing up territories.
Saleen was worried if the True Might chose not to act, just like him. If so, that would be very troublesome. Thus, he did not fly quickly, allowing the True Might to choose between following him or giving up.
The True Might hesitated for a moment. He saw that Saleen's Magical Element Tower was about to fly out of his line of sight. Only then did he fly up from the mountaintop and follow behind the Magical Element Tower.
He could not possibly give up on the anger caused by the death of his son.
No matter how great Saleen's reputation was, he was just a king. The information in the northern wilderness was not up to date and the things that Saleen had recently done had not spread there yet.
Saleen saw the middle-aged man had caught up to him, so he allowed the Magical Element Tower to speed up. In the hands of the water puppet, the Magical Element Tower could go more than 100 kilometers per hour. Saleen did not let the water puppet to recklessly insert any elemental creatures into the magic power furnace, only permitting normal flight.
The Magical Element Tower sped up. The True Might perceived it as Saleen being afraid of him and increased his speed. Saleen smiled coldly. He was really seeking death. Since that was the case...
Saleen released the Thunder Dragon Blaster, prepared to attack at any time.
The distance between the two grew smaller and smaller. Saleen saw that there was a small lake and allowed the water puppet to lower the Magical Element Tower. The lake had already frozen over, so the Magical Element Tower's rough descent broke a hole through the surface of the ice with a loud bang. The Magical Element Tower sank down into the water.
The True Might caught up to them, and his brows furrowed at the scene. He lunged after them, heading directly to the gigantic hole on the lake's surface.
His eyes were covered with a layer of gold aura and saw a person dressed in a splendid robe had already stepped out of the Magical Element Tower. They were currently facing him and had their left hand raised.
There was a piece of equipment that looked like a serpent on the mage's left arm. He did not recognize the lightning dragon, treating it as a serpent that had grown legs.
The Thunder Dragon Blaster did not have any parts that looked terrifying. The equipment was an imitation of Hogina's gun, which was also so complex that it did not look particularly menacing. Even mages who saw its blueprints would have to calculate the extent that they would feel dizzy.
Saleen raised the Thunder Dragon Blaster. Seeing that the True Might had jumped into the freezing cold lake water, Saleen did not know what would be appropriate to say. To face a warrior in such an environment, even if he was not a body of water element, was still taking advantage of the circumstances.
If this person was not being conceited, then he was being too stupid.
A lightning icicle appeared in front of the level 10 True Might without any preamble. In the water, the movement of the lightning icicle was almost like a jump. It jumped from Saleen's arm to right in front of the True Might's face.
The True Might was startled, and a sword aura beam shot from his mouth. As the sword aura was shot out, the True Might's nose and throat split open. A thread of fresh blood flowed out, and sword aura immediately healed the wound.
The sword aura was hit by Saleen's lightning icicle and exploded. Small ice chips flew in all directions, and numerous small injuries were inflicted on the True Might's body.
It was the True Might's first time encountering such a terrifying piece of equipment. His sword aura could protect his body from all magic spells below level 8. Even level 9 magic spells would not cause visible damage. It was only for level 10 and above that he would consider using a skill, either to destroy or defend against them.
Saleen had used an icicle without much care and had completely annihilated his sword aura.
The middle-aged man's entire body suddenly emitted an even more intense gas. The water around him was pushed back by the pressure, forming a shield of wind element.
Pfft...
The second lightning icicle pierced through the wind element shield, slicing across the man's ribs and taking away a chunk of bloody flesh.
