1151 Gratification Part 2 (2/2)
The 17th floor was Saleen, Sika, Elena, and Sul's residence.
The 18th floor was given to Truman, Isabella, Daniel and the level 9 archers who had been transferred from the royal harbor.
The demonic spirits stayed in the upper six floors. The lower 15 floors only had six mages living on each floor, who were all from Sreeger Island and had never entered the Six Elements' Space before. They were all genius mages who had advanced to become sorcerers. Jason had no plans to allow them to utilize the Six Elements' Space to advance and placed high hopes on them.
Due to the Magical Element Tower's change, Saleen felt sufficiently secure in his own safety, so he brought a group of mages out to practice and gain experience. Nailisi's demons looked after them.
The Magical Element Tower's method of flight looked the same as before. It was shrouded in clouds and mist, and within the clouds and mist, magic of the six great elements assisted in the magical tower's flight. However, Saleen knew that the power of the Magical Element Tower had increased by an unknown amount.
For the current Magical Element Tower, Saleen was able to enter and exit at will without needing a teleportation portal. To him, this magical tower was like a mini piece of equipment that could be easily manipulated.
The 24-floor magical tower originally had six windows per floor. Attacks from within the magical tower need no longer be through the windows, so Saleen could have the windows sealed shut. Unless the magical tower suffered a great deal of harm, they would no longer need to do such a troublesome thing.
Within the air, giant clouds were dispersed by the Magical Element Tower, and the magical tower suddenly began to descend into a village.
The Magical Element Tower fell to the ground with a loud sound and smashed a mud house into pieces, causing mud to fly everywhere. The magical tower was buried deep into the ground.
The people in the house were killed. Saleen joked coldly, \”Cloudflow people are really petty. Are they passing off as peasants to hinder my path?\”
Saleen actually did not speak incorrectly. His magical tower had descended and destroyed a farmhouse, and dozens of able-bodied men dressed as civilians instantly rushed at him, pointing towards the magical tower and swearing loudly.
It was too much. Although mages rarely killed innocents, when they handled their affairs, the majority of them would not take the lives of normal people into consideration. If they were really civilians, if they encountered a situation where a magical tower fell from the sky, they would escape. They would definitely not rush up and start scolding.
If people want to search for death, there were many ways, and making a nuisance of mages was the least sensible way, because their death would take a very long time.
\”Sul, time to get to work.\” Saleen yelled. Sul had already rushed out from the magical tower, the longsword that Saleen had refined for him dancing in his grasp. The civilians were unable to maintain their disguise. Sul's sword aura spread widely, causing their blood to boil.
\”How is it.\” Saleen pointed towards the exposed \”civilians.\”\”Truman, you no longer pity them now right?\”
Truman laughed bitterly. \”Teacher, I will not pity them. We are showing off too much. Agares will think and plan to use all kinds of methods to use magic to record this incident of you killing the fake civilians and place it within the memory crystal.\”
\”If that is the case, we will be very passive.\” Truman explained the fact to Saleen, forcefully speaking the sentence.
\”Truman, the reason I am doing this is to tell you that when you possess the power to refuse, you must never pretend to be a weakling. Agares obviously has level 10 strength, but the way he does things is still so wretched and petty, he is not much different from other people from Cloudflow. Perhaps the greatest difference is his ideals are still so grand. At the very least he wants to assassinate the Pope.
Saleen taught with his words and deeds. He had experienced something similar to Truman, from a Grand Mage he quickly became a level 9 sorcerer, he had been unable to acclimatize to such advancement instantly, and his attitude had not changed the slightest.
IT seemed to have obstructed Saleen's advancement, if not for Jason's reminder, Saleen going to the Imperial City of the Abyss to polish his mind to be as bright as a crystal, Saleen would not have been able to advance to level 10.
Truman and Saleen were about the same, after leaving Sreeger Island, Truman was still a normal mage and did not have any areas that he excelled in. Even if Saleen had identified his talent, he had only given him a few pointers and encouragement.
The current Truman was just like the past Saleen. The difference was that Saleen's most direct method was to let Truman understand how a mage like Jason handled affairs.
\”I can understand, but to do this for my sake, the cost is quite big,\” Truman said calmly.
\”Cost? If one wants to gain something, one must pay for it. That is the case for you and for me. All this time I have not had the patience to give you guidance, but you have not disappointed me. Truman, ah, thinking of how Teacher treated me, it makes me very ashamed.\”
\”Ai…\” Truman heaved a long sigh, not knowing what to say to his teacher. He already felt extremely grateful towards Saleen. Without Saleen's support and guidance, he would forever have been unable to achieve what he had, not to mention any future prospects.
