1147 Water Element Territory Part 1 (1/2)

The reason Saleen had not been able to develop territorial powers was because he had trained in the power of the stars. The instant the Starline Armament modification finished, his water element was restored immediately, which made him realize the secrets of water element.

It would have all come a lot more naturally, and he would have been able to develop territorial powers if Saleen did not have the Starline Armament.

However, if that had been the case, Saleen might have only been able to acquire a branch of some kind of territorial powers instead of the basic territorial powers of one of the six major elements.

The moment Saleen's Water Element Territory was completed, his Water Flame Alchemy's power grew. The Water Fox felt that she was no longer able to keep up with Saleen's drain. The Blue Ice Maidens in Saleen's elemental badge began to provide Saleen with power as well.

With the Blue Ice Maiden joining the crafting of the magic tower, all the other five elemental creatures chipped in as well. The power of the six badges in Saleen's belt gradually began to work together.

Saleen had also unintentionally invoked the other star charts and starlines on his magic robe. Dazzling starlight shone on his belt.

The constellation power did not participate in the crafting of the tower and simply maintained Saleen's constitutional balance. Saleen was able to sustain the crafting of the tower at full force. What he acquired from the Water Fox and the Blue Ice Maiden was siphoned endlessly into the tower.

The magic patterns within the tower were all converted. Torrential power welled up and the initially independent floors of the tower were all flooded by the power of water element, so much so that Saleen was able to hear the sound of water flowing in raging torrents.

Whoosh!

All the dimension stones embedded in the elementite of the 24th floor were flushed out, and all the pieces of elementite melded into one. Intense water element storms formed in the spaces of the elementite, and fierce lightning was conjured within the storms.

The two types of powers that Saleen mastered—water element and lightning—merged together and expanded the space on the 24th floor. Rumbling was heard. There was thunder and the raging howl of the water element.

The space in the tower was expanded over 200 meters in diameter, and it kept going.

Saleen willed the halt of the expansion when it reached 360 meters. According to his calculations, if the expansion continued, his powers would not be able to maintain it.

The power of water element and lightning was transmitted downward. The 23rd floor of the tower began to expand.

Most magic towers had spatial properties of some sort, making the internal space look bigger than what was suggested by its outer appearance. Saleen's Magical Element Tower had lacked such properties, as the diameter was expanded to 360 meters and the height was raised to 120 meters.

That ratio was smaller than the dimension stones Saleen owned and paled in comparison to the Starline Ring. However, it humans were capable to stay in it to train.

Saleen would be able to place larger pieces of alchemical machinery and install magic power furnaces of a greater scale.

The source of power for tower was the magic power furnaces. However, due to spatial restraints, the magic power furnaces were the smallest. With the place expanded, Saleen was able to install the largest magic power furnace in the Ancient.

Only a large magic power furnace would be able to provide more power, enabling enhancement of the tower in offense, defense, flight, or any other aspects.

The Water Fox was the first to be exhausted, while the Blue Ice Maidens and the other five elemental creatures had seemingly inexhaustible power. She had just resurrected Nailisi and that had taken a serious toll on her.

If it had not been for her massive power storage and the fact that she was a level 10 creature, the Water Fox would have been totally drained a long time ago.

However, seeing the changes to Saleen's tower, the Water Fox gritted her teeth and told Saleen, \”My liege, release the limit of my heart!\”

Saleen did not ask any further and did not care about the Water Fox's new way of addressing him. He unlocked the limiter on the heart of the Goddess of Myers. The Water Fox, which had been hiding within, spit out a clear blue bead. The bead flew into Saleen's body, making him feel as if his body had expanded.

He felt like his entire body was submerged in thick water element, like he had turned into a water elemental creature. His body of water element merged easily with the bead. His magic chords were infused in the bead and absorbed the pure water elemental power in a frenzy.

Saleen's control of the Water Flame grew even stronger. The Water Flame seeped into every floor of the tower with the water element, refining every single floor. However, the lower they went, the weaker his ability to control the water element became.

Saleen burst open six floors without any problems until he reached the 16th floor, where the mechanical core of the Sky City began to absorb his water elemental powers as well.

Saleen was at his wit's end. The mechanical core absorbed so much energy, it had Saleen spit out the Water Fox's bead in three seconds and put the Water Flame away. Over half of the Water Flame disappeared, absorbed by the mechanical core of the Sky City.

Saleen stopped refining the Magical Element Tower. The 24th floor to the 17th floor were all expanded, but when his powers hit the 16th floor, the mechanical core's power was simply too terrifying.

Saleen figured that even if he threw all of his elemental creatures into it, he would not last against the absorption for one minute.
