Saleen and Lex discussed their next move and decided to attack Sikeqinya instead of invading Phoenix. By the time the Holy See army entered Phoenix and the Qin Empire was unable to render any aid, the Metatrin Kingdom would step in.

In Lonestar City, the soldiers were having a good time. The army outside the city had finally been defeated. Based on their understanding, since the million-strong army had been defeated, Lonestar City would no longer be under threat for the time being.

The happiest people in the city were Nailisi, Nicholas, and Aini. The three of them looted the battlefield. Saleen did not wish to take any prisoners, so approximately one-third of the 900,000 were killed. Almost 20,000 were killed every hour.

As for Aini, once he collected the souls, he left his soul brand in the blood soul tower and erased their memories so that they could bow to him as a God.

Aini was not a Holy Master and did not desire for any religious power, so he began to transmit soul energy into the blood soul tower. It was with great effort that Aini saved up the soul energies. At the end of the day, the heroic spirits would be developed into life spirits that possessed intelligence. They would resemble spirits of the dead but were devoid of any flesh and blood and could only use equipment that Aini has refined for them.

The number of soldiers stationed in the city was close to 500,000, and including the craftsmen and coolies, the total figure was close to 600,000. Saleen deployed metal flying machines as scouts to search for the Supreme Court's army. Separately, he also ordered craftsmen and coolies to head to a castle 200 miles away to the north to expand the area of defense.
