529 Destruction of Lorga Part 2 (1/2)

Saleen had an immense amount of knowledge, but he was not considered an erudite person. He had focused all his efforts into the study of magic. For all knowledge outside of magic and combat, he had used the Memory spell to store it in his brain. He did not spend much time reviewing this knowledge.

Recently, while learning holy prose from Eleanor, Saleen had concentrated on understanding the more complicated parts of theology.

It was precisely because of this understanding that caused him to have the misconception that he was disrupting the resurrection of the goddess.

”No, the goddess wasn't a god who required huge amounts of faith. Even if this statue became a true god, it wouldn't be her either.” Saleen was a little dazed as the surrounding environment was continuously being altered, the ruins were expanding. A great distance away, a furious roar filled the air, and this sound was clearly transmitted to everyone's ears.

A Supreme demon!

The Lorga Maze contained numerous spaces, and the creatures in the spaces managed to hold on to their dying breaths because of the presence of the statue. The grade-10 supreme demon was not part of this group.

”It is very likely that the supreme demon guarding Lorga City has a higher degree of attachment to the Goddess of Myers compared to that supreme demon who was deeply attached to humans.” Saleen felt his scalp tingle when he thought of that.

It was impossible to stage a sneak assault at this point in time. At this moment, it was no longer a test, this outraged supreme demon would kill everyone. Should Lex's God's Ring really be used in advance? If it was used, then everyone would have no protection in the event that they met with trouble in the main temple.

Scarlet words seeped into the wood. Judging by Eleanor's writing speed, Saleen felt that she would die from excessive bleeding. The voice of the supreme demon was drawing closer. If the peripheral space was completely broken, the supreme demon could make his way there in less than three seconds given his powers.

Even though Ismail was bewildered as to why Lex did not use her godly equipment to kill the supreme demon, he did not say anything. He decided to observe the capabilities of Saleen's subordinates first, so that he could have a sense of how to handle matters in the future. ”If they are very weak, I will kill them off one by one, and those stitched monsters and evil knights that I have collected can help Saleen in battles.”

As a purgatory walker, Ismail was not very sure of his judgment, ”The people around Saleen could hardly be deciphered. Especially that woman called Nailisi, she could actually cast a shapeshifting skill on me against my will.” Ismail did not even want his current appearance, it was forced upon him by Nailisi.

In just a span of a dozen seconds, Eleanor had finished writing. She passed the wood to Saleen, then said, ”Make it into the shape of a feather arrow.”

The water flame on Saleen's palm only brushed over the wood gently, and the wood had been processed into the shape of a feather arrow, just that its tail was an emerald-green leaf.

This piece of alchemical weapon was extremely crude. In the instant when it took shape, Saleen could feel the power of life growing out of this wooden arrow, it was like a living thing, with natural cycles taking place in it.

Saleen nodded his head, feeling pained. Even though Eleanor was an elf who had a long life, it still made Saleen extremely sad that such a skill had immediately depleted ten years of her lifespan.

The green arrow flew out, trailed by its own blurry shadow. In front of the Life Arrow, the shadow of the supreme demon had emerged less than one-hundred yards away. This supreme demon was about three yards in height, but his silver scaled armor was draped over his body just like how humans wore armor. Only demons above grade-9 could fade their inborn keratin naturally to create the mightiest demonic armor ever. The weapon in the supreme demon's hand was a colossal meteor hammer. Rushing out with his shadow, his roars exploded into powerful soundwaves.

When the Life Arrow appeared in front of him, the supreme demon extended his hand to catch it. With a thud, the Life Arrow penetrated his arm.
