438 Nailisi’s Pleasure Part 2 (1/2)
Nailisi like to lie to people and Saleen knew that long ago. Actually, Nailisi didn't do anything just to deceive people, she just particularly enjoy the extreme mood of human kind, extreme happiness and sadness, from heaven to hell.
In demon dimension, the demon would only hunt for preys when they were hungry but they would taunt them before they eat their preys. What Nailisi did was not at the acme of perfection but it was enough for a man with weak will.
What Saleen did not understand was, why was Nailisi in a hurry to kill the mage. He was a grade six mage! Even though he had a slightly disreputable character, he would be useful if he was kept as of then. If they signed magic contract, he was not afraid that the mage go back on his words.
Aini was originally afraid of Nailisi and that was because she left a shadow in him back then. The fact that he could be friendly with Saleen and got more intimate was inseparable with the threat that Nailisi pose in his heart. Aini was a talented person, his gut feeling was extremely accurately that he could judge what was was dangerous and what was safe.
Many mages do not have such ability, minority of those who had such ability would be able to walk further down the magic path.
Aini felt that if he could be in good terms with Saleen, Nailisi wouldn't do much to him.
Aini wasn't wrong on that, people on Myers Mainland wasn't sure what Luoluokaluo's ability consists. She left scent on everyone that was close to Saleen. Even though it was not demon dimension, it would not be difficult if Nailisi wanted to find people that she left the scent on.
Luoluokaluo, elf among demons, had strong growth. Alternative among the demons, under harsh living condition in demon dimension, there would be one in ten thousand Luoluokaluo that could grow into adulthood. Before adulthood, Luoluokaluo would not get eight different kind of abilities continuously, but they would blend among countless of demon.
Unfortunately, Nailisi was caught to Myers Mainland by human kinds and held captive since young without any proper care. But she was also lucky that the place where she was held captive was special and she lived and had a chance to evolve into adult form. If she was in demon dimension, she would have died ten thousand years ago.
Not every demon could live so long. A lot of demon could only live for a few centuries.
Nailisi swept down her hand and the ring was taken out from the mage's dead body. She then kept it in her pocket. The space ring was not dimension stone so it couldn't be kept it in her bracelet. Overlapping such magic space would lead to collapse of the space. Although there might not be any danger, the ring would be ruin entirely and there wouldn't be anything left.
The mage's magic power was strong. It was a pity that Nailisi caught him close and he lost control of his magic chords. The electric net had completely ruined him.
With the protection of thunder and lightning, it had the power to resolve all kinds of magic. As long as his level was not two levels above Nailisi, they couldn't kill Nailisi directly with magic. Nailisi's level was linked with Saleen. As Saleen was a grade five mage, only a grade seven sorcerer could possibly hurt Nailisi and a grade eight sorcerer would have the power to kill her instantly.
Even so, if she could get close, even a sorcerer would be in danger. Nailisi was scarier compared to any assassin. An assassin couldn't affect the mage's magic chords after all and it couldn't affect the stability of the elements in the space.
The most important point was, no one could tell that Nailisi was a demon and wouldn't possibly know that she had such strange power. Aini knew but he wouldn't dare to tell anyone.
A normal woman that had never practice magic and had never practice sword aura, which mage would pay attention her? If it was Sika, at least her weapon would alert her enemy. The most frequently used weapon by Nailisi was only a normal Dagger. Most of the time, she fought bare handed.
Nailisi was here to collect her spoils of war but the battle had not ended. There were three warships that escaped towards different directions. Originally, if the skeletons did not shoot the element ray, they could sink a warship straightaway and it would be easier to just go after two. Now that the three warships were fleeing towards different directions, their speed was at their maximum.
The warship from eastern sea too had their secret skill in increasing speed, those low level mages on the ship was observing the situation with alchemy telescope. Four grade six mages being killed like vegetable on a chopping board. Why would these people dared to stay?
Dozens of sailing crew in the cabin on the bottom of every warship were caught by swordsmen and escorted to the middle of a huge magic array to be beheaded. The spot where it was slashed, blood splattered was black in colour, just like heavy smoke. It spiralled upwards and casted into the magic array.
The pattern of the magic array was dazzling bright red and it gave out reeking of blood.
The creepy magic array was activated, the speed of the warship immediately increased and the alchemy parts in the engine was letting out an ear deafening sound. A hundred metre long warship was suddenly going forward at seventy miles.
Even if Saleen's Dragon Remains combat vessel produced bone spirit and could attack far range, the flying bone spirit wouldn't be able to catch up with the warships.
The bone spirits produced in the spirit pool were flawed. Their life span was extremely short. Once released, it would die in a few minutes and it could never find its target again. The speed of the bone spirit flying was just like a normal bird, not even comparable to a grade six mage.
The flying speed of a grade six mage was almost a hundred mile so he could of course catch up with the warships but the flying speed of the bone spirit could barely be over seventy miles. They could still possibly catch up if it was warship that was going on fifty miles. If a target was going at about the same speed, after some time of pursuing, it would automatically drown into the sea and die.
If Saleen brought his Pan Turtle Alchemy Ship, it could of course split into three routes. He himself would go after one while the alchemy ship and the Dragon Remains combat vessel go after the other two, but now they had to let one off the hook.
