Chapter 84 - Kayn vs The Fused Warrior! (1/2)

At this point, it had already been an hour since Goku and company teleported away. Kayn often wondered if they had gone on a picnic while he was here standing in place like a statue. Gohan hadn't initiated an attack on Kayn, and decided to remain on standby.

It was clear that the little boy was hesitant to assault Kayn, he was already heavily intimidated by Kayn's towering stature. Kayn was thinking of using Instant Transmission to their location to give them a scare, but he decided otherwise.

He took this time to check other things, instead. Kayn checked his full status sheet and saw shocking results, his S-Cell count had skyrocketed. It was at a whopping 730, he was well on his way to becoming a Super Saiyan 4, he just needed 270 more.

”Why did it increase so much?” Kayn couldn't wrap his head around it, but he didn't complain, why would he? He nearly jumped in joy seeing this change, this may be due to the change in his personality, or the way he acted towards others; or perhaps the way he tested himself.

While Kayn was speculating on why this had happened, he was immediately alarmed when 3 familiar figures appeared in front of him. They weren't directly face to face with him but had warped a distance away from him.

”About time, what were guys doing, I almost fell asleep waiting here. I was wondering when Gohan over there was going to attack, but he never even tried.” Kayn faked a yawn before turning his head slightly to look in the direction of Gohan.

Gohan's body shook and went weak, he thought he did everything right to hide himself but he was still discovered in the end. Right then, he knew he looked like a clown in a circus performing; believing he had got one over Kayn.

”It was these two, they couldn't decide on what to do, but that doesn't matter now since we're here,” Vegeta said with folded arms, he descended on a rock and waited for the show to begin.

Raditz and Goku didn't pay attention to his remark and instead said. ”We want to try something new, I and Kakarot want to see how effective this will be.” Right then, Raditz revealed the Potara Earrings, he had one while Goku had another.

”Oh...” Kayn was stunned, he had given these Potara's to Bardock before leaving earth. He did this just in case they—for some reason failed to defeat Freiza's family. This was their last trump card if things went south for some reason.

Apparently, Bardock gave them to Goku or Raditz, did he even test them?

Kayn was speechless, he wasn't expecting to ever fight a fused warrior like this!

”Who did Bardock give those to, was it you, Kakarot?” Kayn asked.

”Nope, it was Raditz.” Goku denied it right away.

”I should have known.” Kayn stared at the Purple-Gold Potara's, he could only wait for the results.

”So...how does this work again, hehe?” Goku asked. He seemed to have forgotten.

”You put one on your left ear, while I put one on my Right ear, then something is supposed to happen. We're supposed to fuse together, supposedly; this would increase our strength by many folds.” Raditz briefly explained again.

”Gotcha! Let's do this then!” Goku's expression suddenly turned serious.

Right as he said that, both Goku and Raditz swiftly put on their respective earring on the opposite ear of each other. In that instant, their bodies were like Magnets, pulling towards one another, then their bodies united in a flash of bright white light.

Gohan looked on with surprise, his mouth wide and twitching while Vegeta's expression was that of curiosity.

Within seconds, it wasn't two people within the light anymore, but one!

The figure revealed himself, his hair was long but not as long as Kayn and Raditz's— with it stopping at the mid part of his back with sharp bangs going down his forehead. He wore Burgundy, with a bright orange undershirt similar to Goku's outfit. This figure's eyes were deep black with a smirk across his face filled with utter confidence in himself.

”Now this feels good, I feel great, no, we feel great!” The man lifted both his arms up and clenched his fist.

Kayn felt the amplification of strength coming from Raditz and Goku. They were obviously far superior to what they were as individuals before. Gohan was still stunned from this scene, he could only look on with a dumbfounded expression.

”Wow, Kakarot and Raditz, you're strength has improved a lot, congratulations.” Vegeta commended them after feeling the pressure of the two, he even clapped sarcastically.

”Kakarot? Raditz? We aren't these two anymore!” Both of their voice seemed to overlap each other in this form.

”Hmm...what does it matter, get on with the fight already.” Vegeta scoffed and said.

”No, no, no, we definitely need a name for this new cool form.” Kayn was speechless, but he didn't say anything throughout all of this.

”Roku...Ghetis...Gokuriz...hmm, ah, I got it, you can call me Ragnarok!” With that, he turned and looked towards Kayn seriously.

'Ragnarok? What...like Kakarot and Raditz together?' Kayn somewhat understood, the name was even related to the fall of Gods, which existed in this Dimension.

”With this fusion, I seemed to have unlocked another form I didn't expect at all.” He didn't hold anything back in the face of Kayn and quickly began to power up.

He turned into a Super Saiyan, but he was still trying to break through to the next level. Goku and Raditz understood the depth of Kayn's power to some extent now, at least they thought they did—but it was definitely something they couldn't beat individually. They didn't even have confidence in beating him with this new power-up, but they'll try.

Kayn was a bit surprised because when they were done powering up, they had managed to become a Super Saiyan 2 in this fused form!

”Now, this form does it all, it has power and speed, it really is amazing. I wonder if we can unlock this form as our normal selves?” Ragnarok asked himself. They didn't recognize this stage yet as SS2, but Kayn knew what it was from the lightning flashing around him every now and then.

Kayn also amped up his strength a bit seeing their strength being amplified. He wasn't expecting them to unlock Super Saiyan 2 so earlier, but they fused so there were many possibilities.

”You guys are on a timer, I suggest you start making moves.” Kayn's deep voice reverberated their way.

”Right...” Right then, they moved. Vegeta was now shocked, he couldn't even track their movements, nor could Gohan. But this was only the two of them, Kayn could see it all with ease.

Kayn once again shot many lasers their way from his fingertips, but they would after image strike each of these attacks, dodging them with little effort. He switched his tactics and punched towards Ragnarok with crushing momentum.

”Fast!” Ragnarok was a bit stunned, this Big Ape could move that fast!? He smirked afterward, and spiraled around Kayn's large fist and arm, heading towards his face for an attack.

”Double...!” As he was dodging and racing towards Kayn's face, he was charging up an attack. The attack was blue and pink, but it eventually turned purple with a faint tint of azure around it.
