Chapter 42 - Bardocks Struggles! (1/2)

The first person to fight this time was actually Bardock and some guy that looked like Master Splinter. On the other ring, it was Pikkon fighting some fish looking man who carried a trident. This Master Splinter Character didn't mess around and went full power from the start.

His full power was far stronger than Bardock's, which caused Bardock to take a serious beating. Just as he was being beaten, he found that he had no choice.

Bardock clenched his teeth and looked at Kayn and Gine, he seemed to be hinting at something. Bardock was brutalized by the Ratman, it was like the old rat was doing it on purpose as he smiled while punching and kicking Bardock around the stage.

Bardock stood up and formed a whitish blue ball of energy in his hand and threw it into the sky. Kayn and Gine both pulled out some sunglasses and put them on as soon as they saw Bardock form this energy.

Bardock flew to the sky once he released the ball, but he started to change rapidly. His size increased, he grew hairy, and most importantly, his strength increased by 10 times!

”Roar!!” Bardock roared, then energy formed in his mouth. The Old Ratman was shocked, he quickly moved out of the way.

Booom!

”Whaa....!”

The arena was nearly wiped out, but a series of wind kicked up, blowing the announcer away. The Ratman couldn't escape the wind either, and he was also hit by the powerful winds; flying out of the arena.

Bardock won just like that.

Kayn had already moved to catch the mushroom-headed announcer.

”A-ah, thanks!” The announcer wiped his clothes, then looked at the arena to see that the Ratman had lost.

”W-winner, Bardock!” The announcer hurriedly and announced. The Powerball began to fade, and Bardock returned to his human form rapidly.

Bardock sighed in relief, he really needed to train more and not rely so much on his Oozaru form. He jumped off the stage and returned to where Kayn and Gine were. King Kai was talking with the other Kai about something, but King Kai seemed happy about Bardock's victory much to West Kai's dismay.

On the other hand, Pikkon wiped out his opponent relatively quick. Kayn watched the fights of many races and different styles. Some were weird, some were unique, some were flashy, and some were things that Kayn would have never thought of.

Kayn got a few ideas from some of the strange Techniques these people were using and decided to make a few Techniques later down the line.

”Hehe, it looks like my fighter is going against your fighter next match.” King Kai saw that Gine was up next and her opponent was a guy named Arqua.

”D-don't get too excited, Arqua's strength has grown from before.” East Kai folded her arms, but she felt like cursing North Kai because she knew the sad truth.

”He only has a few good fighters, Pikkon is better than all his fighters combined.” West Kai found time to gloat as usual.

”We'll see who comes out on top of this tournament.” King Kai smiled, he seemed to have grown confident in his disciples at this point.

”Next, Gine vs Arqua and TapKar vs Karthus!”

Gine and Arqua stepped on the Arena, while TapKar, who was South Kai's disciple stepped on the arena to fight Karthus.

As soon as the announcer announced the battle to start, Gine made her move. She already heard from Kayn that this character was extremely weak, and was easy to defeat. He even told her his exact power level, something he knew from the series.

Arqua tried to make a move, but he was easily suppressed by Gine and thrown out of the ring.

”Hahaha! What kinda disciples do you have, they're too weak!” King Kai laughed to the sky seeing East Kai's disciple defeated so miserably.

”Arqua, you could have at least loss with some dignity, you were beaten so easily! I'll have to punish you later!” East Kai was furious seeing Arqua thrown out of the ring like a 2-year-old child.

”No, miss Kai, please, anything but punishment!” Arqua pleaded for mercy, but his pleads fell on deaf ears.

However, TapKar won his match, Tapkar was decently strong. Kayn remembered these characters and their strength. TapKar barely won his match though, he was gasping for air after his match.

The matches continued to commence 2 at a time. Kayn could hear King Kai and West Kai arguing and debating from time to time. Kayn fought his match, he was up against a guy named Gorilla, another guy he had seen from the Dragonball Z series.

He had a light brown body with no hair, he was very tall in stature with sharp elf-like ears. He had small angel-like wings on his back with a gorilla face. The man talked and threw out threats often, but he was slapped out of the ring with a single hit.

His eyes were wide from shock as if he couldn't understand what had happened. Even though Kayn wasn't getting any good fights, he was still being stimulated from combat. Pikkon was weaker this time around compared to when he would meet Goku later.

This time, Bardock and Gine ate allot, they didn't show any public decency and tore into their food without care. Kayn didn't burn any energy, but he didn't think it was good to eat when fights were to come.

This caused many people to lose their appetites in the area!

Kayn didn't say anything and just watched them eat silently. In no time, the 3rd round had started, Bardock wanted to make it into the top 8, so he vowed not to lose. Sadly, there were many people far stronger than.

The 3rd round would eliminate 32 people this time.

This time, Gine fought against TapKar, her base form was enough to fight against this guy since his strength was around 2 million.

”Haha, one down West Kai, 2 more to go, hahaha!” King Kai looked like the happiest guy ever as he roared in laughter.

”Damn, this isn't over!” West Kai jumped up and down angrily, he was the shortest of the Kais, so from Kayn's perspective; this looked funny.

Kayn's match was second, he was fighting against a guy named Chapuchai. Chapuchai was one of South Kai's disciples, he was a true Canon fighter. He was a brown-skinned man with a bald head and a huge beard.

Kayn had to say that up until now, he was strongest so far, but he wasn't good enough. Kayn fought with him for a bit before kicking him out of the ring.

”Ah, yes, yes, my disciples are the ultimate!”
