Chapter 36 - No Mercy! (1/2)

Gine and Bardock flew happily through space, they had been eager through their journey, but now, they were nearing their destination. Bardock was the happiest and most eager, he couldn't wait to do what he did best.

The destination was was within their sights, it was time to fight soon. Gine and Bardock had trained a lot on there way here, well, they used weights to train. They wanted to spar, but that wasn't possible on this ship, less they blow a hole in the ship and die in space.

They even had a 'good time' at night on some days. Bardock laughed when he recalled Kayn telling them to be careful, he didn't care much about it and let 'one-off inside' anyway! If Kayn knew this, he would probably have a fear attack.

Kayn didn't think it was time to be having a baby now, they weren't in the position for that. Gine could only sigh when it happened, she could only hope she didn't get pregnant.

The ship drew closer until it was now on the planet's doorstep. The ship easily broke through the atmosphere without showing any speed deterrence. As fast as it was descending, it stopped at the right moment and landed gently.

[Destination Has Been Met!]

A mechanical voice came from the ship, alerting Bardock and Gine that they had arrived. Bardock and Gine were already armored up and ready to go. The ship was coordinated to land near the city Kayn had originally visited at that time.

Kayn actually prepared some clothes for Bardock to wear for combat. The Bardock from the recent movie wore the typical armor for a Saiyan with light blue pants. The Old school Bardock wore vest-like armor with dark blue pants and a dark blue and light green c.h.e.s.t plate.

Kayn liked the old school Bardock's dressing style better, so he bought the armor off the system to soothe his fanboy taste. Bardock wore it, he actually like this style better himself, he even felt lighter wearing it.

As for Gine, her armor was basically the same except the color, which was originally green, now turned pink. She wore what appeared to be leggings, but they were thin pants that were trailing into her warrior boots.

Once they walked out of the ship, they instantly shot out their Ki-Senses; locking in on the city close by. Gine and Bardock looked at each other and nodded before shooting into the air and toward the city.

Gine's expression looked serious and so did Bardocks, however, he was used to this type of thing, so he wasn't phased by what was coming next. Their arrival toward the city was fast, it was just as Gine remembered, it was this place!

Bardock looked at Gine, and he could see her conflict.

”It'll be over soon.” Bardock wrapped his arms around her and spoke to her with a gentle and kind voice.

”Yes, let's get this over with, so we can return to our son.” Gine smiled and nodded, happy to hear Bardock's heartwarming words.

Gine knew where all the evil was in this city, she had been here for many years, so how could she not know? The City Gate guards were no good themselves, they were crooked and would beat or kill anyone that defied them.

”How dare you fly near here, you'll have to pay a toll for doing that!” The guards looked menacingly at Bardock and Gine.

”Hmm, actually, if you let us play with this woman here, we can forgive you, what do you say?” One of the guards looked at Gine and his eyes shined.

As soon as his voice fell, his body was engulfed in blue light, then the area around him went up in smoke! The City Guards were shocked, these 2 actually dared to attack and kill a city Guard!

”F.u.c.k! Sound the alarm, these 2 can't be let off!” The tall guard with blue futuristic armor shouted angrily. The alarms were sounded, but Bardock and Gine showed no worries. These guards weren't strong, as the typical Gate guard had a power level between 4,000 to 5,000.

”Who do you think you are, you just killed a City guard!” Several of the guards took to the air, clearly ready for a fight.

”He could only blame himself; if his mouth wasn't so dirty, he wouldn't have died so fast.” Bardock was the one who killed him on the spot. But his last words hinted that the man was going to die anyway, but he could have lived longer if he kept his mouth shut.

After Bardock's words fell, they both made their move. They quickly arrived at the few City guard's flanks. Bardock's hand appeared in front of one of the guards, then he shot an energy wave at point-blank in the man's face!

The Guard screamed but his screams soon died down, as he was no more.

The other guards were angered further, but before they could do anything, some man had a hole blown through his c.h.e.s.t. They couldn't keep up with these 2, they were just too fast. In a matter of minutes, the guards were eliminated.

However, the Guard captain shot into the sky and made a run for it after evaluating the situation.

”Kaio-Ken!” Gine's body ignited like fire, then she moved in a flash. She appeared in front of the Guard Captain and kicked him so hard that his body exploded into blood mist!

”Damn!” Bardock was awed for a second before flying over.

However, the reinforcements that were on their way showed horror-stricken expressions. The Scanners couldn't process the power level of these individuals!

”May we know why you guys have come here, we don't want any trouble. Is there anything we can give you to solve this problem you may have with us?” One of the men tried to make peace, they feared for their lives seeing their strength go far beyond the scanner's understanding.

”Yeah, we want something.” Bardock said; just before they could ask what, Bardock answered. ”We want you all to die!”
