Chapter 27 - Quick Rescue! (1/2)

The 2 Ogre easily sensed him. Kayn didn't really try to hide. The check-in station had multiple buildings with King Yemma's place being located near the center of all of this.

There was the main entrance, then there were side entrances. Most took the main entrance but Kayn was taking a side entrance by coming from snake way.

”Hey, did you just come from Snake way?” The guards at the entrance looked at Kayn in astonishment.

”Yes. I was sent here by King Kai on some personal business.” Kayn flashed the pass he got from King Kai to the guards.

One of the Ogres checked the pass thoroughly and found that it wasn't fake.

”You're all set, you may pass, sir.” One of the Ogres pointed towards the way.

”Thanks, I'll be one my way.” Kayn technically wouldn't have wasted his time taking the gate, but he found that his Ki senses would be blocked from prying pass the Check-in walls. There was a big sign that said Welcome on top of the gate as he passed through.

There was a small line of dead people at the check-in station. Kayn had no choice but to get in line, which caused many eyes to shoot his way. They didn't see a halo over his head, this could only mean that he wasn't dead like them.

Surprisingly, no one asked him why he was here despite the arousal of curiosity. Everyone also noticed Kayn's tail, he didn't try to hide it.

”Well, I never thought there would actually be a Saiyan still alive and kicking. He somehow found his way into Dead Man's Paradise.”

”I heard that this is the world of the dead, how could a living person appear here?”

”You shouldn't be worried about him, you've done some pretty evil deeds when you were alive.” A giant Lizard faced man said.

”What does that supposed to me?”

”Haha, it means you'll be sentenced to hell!” The Lizard faced man laughed and jeered.

”No one's sending me anywhere!”

Kayn didn't respond to what the people were saying about him and just waited. Time passed swiftly, and it was nearing his turn; it was only the 1 guy left before his turn.

”Ah, Morgus the mighty? You've done some pretty good deeds, so you'll be sent to heaven.” King Yemma slammed his Judge hammer after looking over the giant book.

”Yeah! Being a good person really paid off, even in death, hahaha! My dad was right” The Lizard-headed man laughed joyously under the guidance of a Blue Ogre.

”Next...is, hmmm!” King Yemma's gaze swept over Kayn and he quickly noticed he wasn't a dead person.

”You're not dead, so how did you even get here?” King Yemma's expression changed. Dead people had their power level restricted once they died. This disabled and crippled them heavily, however, this only applied to people sent to hell or those in King Yemma's presence.

”I can explain, I was sent here by King Kai to do something for him. I need to retrieve someone then return back to his place. Here's the ticket thingy.” Kayn quickly explained and showed the pass he received from King Kai.

The Pass floated into King Yemma's hand, then he looked it over.

”Your name is Kayn, right? Just a second.” King Yemma, in standard fashion, searched through his Book of Judgement.

”Not bad, a little too much killing but not bad.” King Yemma shut his book and continued. ”Okay, I assume you want to head to a certain destination? Where will it be?” King Yemma wanted to deny Kayn from jumping between worlds like it was a game, but he wanted to save face for King Kai.

”I heard you can open a door from here to the place I want to go to. The place I want to head to is the location of a Saiyan name Gine. Just open a door close to her location, and I'll be back before the duration of the door ends.”

”A Saiyan named Gine? So you and that gang of Saiyans are still alive, I see.” King Yemma looked at the line behind Kayn, it was starting to grow! This made him recall how busy he was when he had to sentence so many Saiyans to hell that day.

”Damn it! Hey, hurry up and show him the way, he must have the coordinates to where he wants to go. I can't deal with this living person now, there are too many people coming here after death.”

King Yemma was growing restless, he was already busy as 'hell' so he couldn't waste his time searching for some unknown Saiyan.

Kayn's mouth twitched, but he didn't worry because he did have the coordinates of the planet.

”Ah, yes, right this way Saiyan, sir!” A Blue Ogre quickly came over to guide him. After walking for a while, they came to a door. Once they opened the door, there was another door!

”This door will lead you to where you want to go in the Universe, just tell me the coordinates.” The Ogre said, ”Also, you only have 30 minutes to get in and out, if you're too late then the door will shut disappear completely.” The nerdy Ogre fiddled with his glasses as he looked at the clipboard in his hand.

”I understand!” Kayn told him the coordinates and the Ogre told him that once he entered the door, it would go invisible so others won't discover it. This was a really big favor, it was something King Yemma would deny flat out unless the universe was in danger.

The nerdy Ogre told him a passcode to make the door become visible again, so all he needed to do was remember the location the door spawned.
