Chapter 24 - Heartfelt Completion! (2/2)

Time passed by quickly; things went better for Kayn because he now had better means of travel. So his proficiency was faster than before. Frieza was utterly pissed and even killed off a few soldiers who failed to predict where Kayn would appear.

They also noticed that he had stolen one of their sh.i.p.s to use against them. The Ginyu force even got involved, but their efforts on tracking Kayn was also a failure.

Kayn would venture to Frieza planets that weren't close to each other, which threw them off. He didn't bother to leave his ship and just blasted the planets from outer space before jumping to hyperspace.

The ship was already stocked on food, along with the food he already had, so he was set for a while.

Thus, another year and a half had gone and pass.

Kayn had decided to get the soldier mission over with by personally attacking the 8th planet on his mission log. At this moment, he was before the 10th planet; once this planet was destroyed, his mission was complete.

”It took more than 3 years to get this mission over with, I'm nearly 16 years old.” Kayn stared down at the planet in relief; this mission was finally about to be over with. He opened the airlock and arrived above the ship.

Putting both his hand together in from of him, he started to form a large ball of energy. It only grew to a certain extent before he launched it towards the planets. As it descended towards the planet, it grew bigger and bigger.

”Time to head out!” Kayn went back into his ship and flew off to his next destination.

Within a few minutes, he heard a heartfelt alert.

[Ding! Mission [Striking Back] had been completed; handing out Rewards....!]

[Congratulations, you've received: Saibaman Seed (x20)]

[Congratulations, you've received: 120,000 System Points]

[Congratulations, you've received: Bronze Crate]

”Thank goodness!” Kayn was elated then checked the burgundy pouch filled with Saibaman seeds. Saibaman seeds were usually green in color, but he saw a few that were purple and orange.

”What kind of Saiba man would have these colored seeds? Is it a higher level type of Saibaman or something?” Kayn was eager to find out, but he had to wait until a later time to do that so he put them into his Space Watch.

The most appealing was the Bronze Crate, it was exactly as the name said, Bronze in color with a green gem on it. Kayn didn't open it right away and decided to wait until he was on a planet instead, rather than a ship for precaution.

Kayn shot out his senses but he didn't pick up anything.

Time passed again, and a week had gone by. This time he was able to sense what he wanted, and that was Nail from Planet Namek. Locking onto Nail's Ki signature, he touched the ship and warped to his position. However, Kayn and his ship appeared in the sky above the village, shocking everyone.

Nail was also stunned, but he sensed a familiar Energy coming from the ship, yes, he recognized who this was and relaxed. The ship landed flew off and landed quite someways away from the village.

Kayn soon exited the ship with a face full of smiles. His height had already reach 5'9, he was clearly going to a be a huge Saiyan once he really m.a.t.u.r.ed!

Kayn landed the ship on an island surround by water. At that time, sea monsters were fighting, but they were spooked when they saw his ship landing near them.

”This kid!” Nail had already flown over, he was speechless at this point. He couldn't fathom Kayn's strength anymore.

”Hey, Mr. Nail! I was just dropping by, I won't be here long, so you don't have to mind me.” Kayn saluted and flew off without saying anymore.

”.....”

Nail said nothing.

Kayn felt very accomplished finishing that long and annoying mission over the years. Once he arrived at a secluded place, he took out the Yellow pad and placed it down. Soon, he arrived back on Derail 7 again.

”Alright, it's time to use my shuttle pass!” Kayn flew off to his little home.
