Chapter 17 - Pirate Extermination Part2 (2/2)
Kayn could care less about anything else right now, his mission was already complete here. As someone from a modern world, he had to get used to killing.
Another thing, he wanted to destroy those other pirates sh.i.p.s. He noticed that a few of them were quite close to the planet once he flew near the atmosphere. Of course, he couldn't get to close since he couldn't breathe in space.
Kayn suddenly had an Idea, this time he wanted to test his new skill, the Spike Bomb. The SpikeBomb wasn't that strong yet with having a rank of F, but it was good enough to deal with people like these pirates.
Kayn began to charge up his Spike Bomb, it resembled Jeice's Powerball, but it was slightly bigger with several sharp spikes sticking out it. Without further ado, he launched his attack through the atmosphere. Kayn didn't end it there, he quickly began to charge up a Kamehameha attack.
The Ki wave slammed into the spike-bomb, speeding it!

Impossible! The people of this world have cannons that can shoot into space as well?” The commander was shocked, these planets were clearly in some sort of alliance.
”Sir, these attacks aren't aimed at us, they'll go right pass us without any trouble.” One of the pirates saw that the attack would not threaten them.
”I can see that you moron, I think we should pay a personal visit to this planet!” Just as he said that, the laser pass their ship, but suddenly, the tip of the beamed attack exploded! With blinding red light, several spikes from the spike-bomb shoot out randomly, and even towards their location.
The warning on the ship had gone off, but they could barely see anything due to the blinding red light.
”No! Shields” The commander hollered hysterically, he couldn't see anything but he felt a strong sense of danger, it was further confirmed with the ship's warning. Sadly, it was too late, the pirates couldn't locate the shield button. These sh.i.p.s were actually new, so they didn't know everything by heart like the typical veteran.
The spikes blew open the ship, several explosions took place, followed by several large holes appearing in the ship. Most of the crew died before they were s.u.c.k.e.d into space to suffocate! The commander was no exception, even in the face of death, he could never understand how these natives had such amazing weapons.

Meanwhile, several notifications alarmed Kayn upon the pirate's destruction.
”Nice! A clean sweep!” Kayn was feeling good about himself being so calculative. With his mission complete and the destruction of the pirate crew, he left immediately. It was finally time for him to head to planet Yardrat.
As he flew through space, he saw tons of debris from the wreckage of the pirate sh.i.p.s. He spotted a few bodies floating in space, but they had already lost all vitals. Kayn shook his head, this is retribution for being a pirate, you can't blame anyone.
Continuing through space, he checked his System Points and found that he had acc.u.minated quite a lot of them. However, he wanted to save these points, so he had no intention of spending them for now, unless he had to.
That wasn't the only thing that went up, his power level also increased. The pirates were so weak that it only took one hit to kill them. Universe 7 was pretty sad in the strength department as of now, but that would change in about 30 years.
”System, open the Iron Crate!” Thinking up until here, he decided to open the Iron crate to see what he could get.
[Ding! Opening Iron Crate....!]
The opening took about 60 seconds before another notification was heard.
[Congratulations, you've opened an Iron Crate and received: Coordinates Shuttle Pass!]
[Congratulations, you've opened an Iron Crate and received: Divine Water (x3)]
Kayn's eyebrows knitted, he didn't receive too many items, but an Iron Crate has the lowest rank amongst the crates so this was understandable. Kayn wouldn't write any items off he found, so he inspected the Coordinates Shuttle Pass.
Coordinates Shuttle Pass: This is an item that allows the user to teleport anywhere within his or her's universe. This item will shuttle the user to a chosen position, this can be used again to return the user to his original position afterward before disappearing.
Important Note: Only Within Universe 7!
”Haha, this is a very useful item, I know exactly what to use it for!” Kayn was excited seeing this item, this item had solved one of his problems. As for the Bottles of Divine water, he didn't need to read up on these to know what they were used for.
Satisfied with his gains, he went into stasis until he reached Yardrat.
