The morning of the next day comes quickly, and another phase of common sense bangs into me. XiaoLong opened the door after I was ready for breakfast.

A dark shade looms over my eyes, ”Hey…XiaoLong…”

”Yeah?”

”You know I was the one who killed Sadie Shih, right?”

”Mhmm…”

”...”

He grabs my arm, ”Don't you dare leave again. I know you did it, and you did it for the greater good. She was a pirate that killed many other people. There's nothing wrong with it.”

I look at him, warily, as if saying 'Are you sure?'

He looks back with determination in his eyes and I relax a bit.

”Maybe I should just put you on a leash all the time so that you won't leave again~” he says thoughtfully.

”Oh, and what will you do when you take a bath, train, and run around at night and stuff?” I fire back, disliking the idea of a leash.

”Hey! I don't run around at night! I just sit on the roof and look at the stars! It's not like you don't do it! Besides, if I'm going to take a bath, then maybe you should take a bath…” he stops and his face turns red.

My face turns red, as I realize the next words, 'with me'.

”Shameless,” I mutter under my breath.

”We're gonna get married anyways,” he whispers under his breath.

We stay quiet until we reach the breakfast hall. It is as if we are all one big happy family and nothing is wrong.
