Chapter 2221 - The Horror (1/2)
”We are close,” Rhea said, looking at the station far away. If we were outside, the distance wouldn't have meant much, we would have been able to cover it within a minute, but here, it is going to take quite long.
”Yes, we are close; we should be able to reach it within two days,” Jim said before we began moving again.
We are moving quickly, a little more quickly than before, taking each step with purpose. The station looked to be in great condition, and if it is as inside as it looked outside, then we would not have any problem in leaving through it.
I hope there is no problem, we have been here for quite a long and would need a few more days to find the gate before we could leave this place.
Nine hours passed by since I had dealt with the Grimms, and we had already covered half of the distance to the station and now could see it even more clearly, and signs are good; it does not as damaged as the places around it.
Four more hours passed by, and we have stopped again; all of us had serious expressions on our faces looking at the giant thing in front of us.
”Will this be safe?” Rhea asked, looking at the thing in front of us; from a distance, this thing did not look much dangerous as it looked from up close. This will be our biggest hurdle before we reach the station.
”No ,but t is our only choice; circumventing around it would days at least, and it would be even dangerous with the spatial energy on both sides,” Jim said before turning to me.
”Will you be able to make a way through it?” Jim asked, ”Yes, but it would be dangerous,” I said gravely.
In front of me, a giant field stretched miles and miles. It does not have broken formation, on the outside at least, but inside there are lots of broken formations that seemed to have formed neat layers, and if we want to reach to the other side, we would have to break the layers.
That is not the biggest danger; I could sense the faint spatial energy inside. It should not be dangerous, but nothing is sure when it comes to spatial energy.
I would not have even thought about entering inside it. If I had not sensed even greater energy on both sides of the field, means circumventing around it is even more dangerous than passing through it.
”You guys go harvest,” I said to them and closed my eyes as Ashlyn appeared on my shoulder for protection.
I begin to create the formation; it won't take long despite the wall being large as it is a complete wall. The only problem it had the spatial energy covering it, and for it, I am making it extra stable and won't skim on the formation inks.
I was able to create the formation within half an hour, but I spent another forty-five minutes fortifying it before materializing with Grandmaster class formation ink.
My heart couldn't help but feel pain seeing the amount of formation ink I was using, but I have to no choice. I could not compromise on safety, and in front of it, thousands of bottles of Grandmaster class formation ink are nothing.
”Its ready,” I said as I opened my eyes, and a few seconds later, Rhea and Jim arrived beside me. As they did, I brought out the huge formation I had created and threw it toward the wall while all three of us watched in utter seriousness.
Buzz!
A few seconds later, the formation buzzed, and three of us walked inside it without wasting a moment.
Just we did, the spatial energy covered us, and it was much denser than I had sensed before, which is quite a surprise to me as I am very sensitive to spatial energy. Seeing the denseness, I know I am in trouble; I just hope this trouble didn't outright kill me.
