I called the internal energy inside me and spread into my whole body, not only my body but also began to spread into every part of my armor.

I did not feel any burst of strength or anything; the only thing I felt was a warm heat spreading into my body and soul. It is a comforting feeling that immediately made me feel that I could survive this crisis.

The crown of roses increases my senses exponentially and lets me see and process the data which my eyes and mind would usually avoid.

”Three attacks, you should feel proud of yourself, human, even in my race, there are many Masters who were able to survive three attacks of mine,” It said lazily as its swung its saber at me.

Seeing its attacks, my eyes couldn't help but widen; this is no simple attack like the previous three; there is immense complexity involved in it. It is a good thing I had activated the 'Crown of Roses'; otherwise, I would have not been able to defend against this attack, and the consequences of it would have been dire.

I moved my rapier according to the saber, and for the first time since the battle had begun, I saw the small hint of surprise in its eyes; it only lasted for a fraction of seconds before it disappeared.

The vidette did not seem to be happy me resolving the complexity of the move and made it even more complicated, and I felt headache rise with a huge amount of data came at me, but I processed it immediately and saw the path of its saber and moved my rapier according to it.

While it may be powerful and it is still not a Grandmaster and till it is not Grandmaster, my 'Crown of Roses' will see through every move it will attack me.

I may not have the raw power at it yet, but I still have some skills that will help me survive it, and one day, I will kill it and study it. I have been extremely curious about it, and I could not have it, especially since that seed sucking up every speck of the seed came at me.

Finally, our weapons clashed again, and I felt my sword clashing against the vengeful tsunami, but unlike before when I felt like a dry twig in front of me, this time I felt like I am green twig which is more flexible with vitality strong enough to wither any tide.

I shot back once again, but this time, I did not vomit at blood or feel tears across my internal organs. Though they have felt a shock, with the protection of the internal energy, they were able to bear it without any problem, and it had surprised Grimm vidette as a casual mask slipped from its face, and a hint of anger appeared on it.

”It looks like you have been hiding some strength, human,” It said and came at me, and this time, there was no casual smile on its face or casualness in its movements. It came at me with purpose, and that purpose was to kill me.
