The old man looked at me, and I found my whole body numb and strong leaving me; I felt like I was being stared down by an apex predator. The Grand Lords are the apex predators; they are at the limit of Tyrant, which is the limit of our world.
A second later, his expressions changed suddenly and drastically, ”I'll be damned, A Scion of Celestial Inheritance and from Riverfield again!” He said with a shocked voice as he looked at the emblem of Riverfield academy on my chest.
”At first, I thought you were joking with me, angela, but it looks like you are not.” ”Still, a scion of celestial inheritance appearing from the riverfield Academy again is great news for an old man who had slept for god knows how long,” The old man said.
”Fifty-three years Elder Lord,” Answered Lord Whitman, hearing that old man turned to Lord Whitman. ”You are this generation leader of our Academy; where is that ungrateful student of mine? He can't come back to see his old teacher wake up,” Old man said, clearly angry.
”I apologize for teacher Elder Lord, but a teacher had assumed the position of aegis,” Lord Whitman said as he kneeled on his knee, and the understanding flashed in the old man's eyes.
”So, the war had begun,” Old man said with a sigh as he motioned lord Whitman to get up. ”Yes, it had, and it is way worse than you could imagine; if not for that, we would not use the risky method to wake you up,” Lady Angela said.
”Appearance of a scion of celestial inheritance, a sign of epochal war. It looks like we have to be ready to pay the huge price to survive the war, much less win it,” Old man said, ”Hehe, it seemed like these old bones would see some actions soon,” the old man added with a laugh.
”Gatlin, why did you take such a big risk? That place is a graveyard for people like us,” Lady Angela asked. ”I got greedy angela, I found a treasure map which marks the relatively safe way to the outer edges of the middle part,” Old man said with a mirthless laugh.
”Have you at least got the thing you took such idiotic risk for or just came running with the parasite in your body?” Lady angela asked sharply, which made an expression of shame appear on the face of the old man for a moment before it disappeared.
”Of course I have got it, the parasite I have got on my way back,” He said defensively and even folded his hands in front of his chest.
”You did not seem too happy by the thing you have got; otherwise, you would have gloated on my face by now,” Old women said, and the expressions old man fell immediately.
”I think I fell into some bastard's sick joke; the thing I got is useless,” Old man said, and a small glass bottle appeared in his hand, and inside it were three green seeds which seemed to have fractal patterns on them.
”Let me have a look at them?” Lady Angela asked and the old man who threw a glass bottle at her. She caught it and opened its lids and took seeds in her hands, and soon surprise flashed in her eyes.
