Chapter 2048 - Nine Plated Quern I (1/2)
When I was designing the core, I have created a special formation that helped me purify and absorb any energies. I am inspired to create it by Green and Silver runes; for them, it is no big thing, and they do it regularly with Grimm Monsters with bloodlines.
I have no command over these runes, and so I needed to create my own system, and I was able to do that with great research and incorporated into my core, and this extremly powerful energy would be a test of the function have created in my core.
If it worked, I would gain massive benefits, and if it failed, there is a chance that my core would get destroyed by it, but I am willing to take the risk to get the great benefits.

With that thought, I reached for that thing in my core, and the next second, a big thing began to come out from a corner of the island. It took a few seconds for it to fully came out, but when it did, it looked majestic.
It is a huge nine-plated quern; it is nearly at the height of my refinement tower in transparent silver color, and each plate of it looks like they are made of silvery glass, which is empty on the inside.

As the quirn appeared, I activated the formations on my strings; as it activated, it began to transfer the bloodline contamination from Raibhan's body into my core.
It is hard so hard that I have to pour all my energy into powering the formation, and it only begins to transfer at trickle speed. The Bloodline contamination is resisting with all wanting to stay in Raibhan's body and fuse with him.
It will take quite a time, and I have time; more than two hours have passed, and core had only been able to destroy the 30% of a curse; there is still 70% remaining to be destroyed. I should be able to extract all the Bloodline Contamination well before that.
The trickle of Bloodline contamination begins to fill the upper disk of the huge quern, which begins to spin slowly with the rest of the plates below him.
Each plate will act as a purifier, purifying energy further and further till it reaches the last disc, which purifies it enough that it would become suitable to merge with my core and strengthen it.
Seeing how powerful the energy is and how much strain my quern is feeling, it is going to take days. If it had been green and silver runes, they would have taken a few seconds, but I could not compare my quern with that two formations; they are made of the ancient runes, which I could not understand at all.
Two hours and ten minutes passed by, and finally, I was able to extract all the Bloodline Contamination. It filled the quern to nearly to the brim, and now it is spinning even more slowly, so slowly that it one looked at it carefully to know it is even spinning.
