Chapter 2024 - Harvest (1/2)

A second after the golden beam stopped by me, it had turned into the giant golden cube which had enveloped me and the sphere.

The protection of the cube seemed extremely powerful; from what I could sense, its defensive power is comparable to the old monsters who are fighting invisibly, and if that was not proof of that, then the clashing of invisible attacks is.

The mirrors have disappeared the moment the cube has appeared, and invisible attacks clashed against it, but they were not able to do a thing against it, not even shake it.

It seemed to have made that person even angrier, and it had attacked with even more powerful attacks, but it was not able to do anything against it. Seeing that everything outside is beyond my control, I decided to refine the Grimm Monsters, in the essence roses.

I just shifted focus back to the essence roses when I heard the familiar buzz I had been waiting to hear, and for a moment, I had thought it might not even come, but it finally did, and to my surprise, the silver and green runes came out from my core, instead of my body as they usually do.

The runes have begun to spread through me, and I covered myself and the sphere into the mist to obstruct the vision of those watching.

The runes did not emit any fluctuation, so people could not sense them even if they were somehow able to seep their soul power into the cube that was protecting me. So, all I have to do is obstruct their vision, and I did with mist, which is not a regular mist but one with heavy rule-bending power.

Buzz!

It took a few seconds for the runes to spread, and as they did, I felt the thick and powerful crystalline bloodline essence coming at me. It is thick as what I had felt in the bloodline ruin, even slightly powerful, and this time, there is no restriction on me, and I could enjoy it to my full extent.

The only regret I have is that only two Grimm Monsters have the bloodline in all the fifteen. It would have been fantastic if a few more of them had it, especially the Stone Lightning Tigerman; it would have given me an immense boost.

While I am saying the Stone Lightning Tigerman had it, I really did not wish it had. It would have made my job a lot harder, and I might have not been able to defeat it if it had the bloodline.

Those with bloodlines create a lot more resistance than those with Inheritance. If it had the bloodline, I would not have been able to seal its core and all the power points in time, and that means I would have died; if those people in hiding failed to save me.

As the thick purified bloodline essence came into my body, I received another surprise. Instead of getting divided into multiple streams as it usually does, all of it had gone to my core.
