Chapter 1907 - Trade I (1/2)

”This should be enough!” I said as I closed the storage box and handed it to the drone. This is a tax, tribute, whatever should one call it, it will be going to the Pyramid.

I had added lots of rare and precious plants, some rare material, copies of books I had found, and even rare artifacts such as high-end calibrators and weapons. This will be my first tribute to the Pyramid; even though I am not doing it with my real identity, it matters a lot to me.

It is thousands of years old tradition and responsibility to each Tyrant; each of our contributions helps Pyramid manage its expenses and operations, which keeps the world safe.

It had been a day I had returned to the fortress, and the first thing I had done after returning was sent mail to the teacher. Unlike other places, I was posted in an important place, and it would be hard to call me back in a day to two, especially now when the situation of Scorcese Valley developed to this, and I had revealed my talents.

Teacher would have to pull some strings and call on some favors to call me back to the academy, and it will take time; I just hope it will not take too much time.

I had accomplished what I had come to accomplish here and also got 25% of all resources I needed, which I had not thought I would get, and now, I want to start collecting other resources that I need. There are some places I have to go to collect them, they are not ruins.

Though I will be going into the ruines, how many ruins I will have to go will totally depend on after I have done with the two sources I have. both of them offered hope of huge amount of resources for me, and I hope to get at least 30% from them, this would make this lot easier and less time-consuming.

Resource hunting isn't the only thing I have to do; there are is still a most important thing, and that is completing my Inheritance; I am still not finished with it, but with the material I have got, I am confident that I would be finished within few months, it would not take another year as I had expected.

After I finished my dinner with Ashlyn, I walked out of my room. The small trade fair is today, it will be Tyrants, and select few Emperors would be invited to open their eyes to the big picture. I planned to exchange a lot of things at this trade fair.

I may have gotten a lot but there many people who had gotten great things too. There were more than a thousand herb halls in the Astral Garden Tower, and I had explored around fifty; it is without question there would be lots of great stuff at the trade fair.

I was on my way to the arena where the fair is held when I saw spotted Thea and Williams, ”Jordan, are you going to the trade fair?” Thea asked as she stopped for me. ”Yes,” I replied, and I found her looking strangely at me.
