Chapter 1855 - Snake Hunting (2/2)
A curse rang out through my mouth a minute later. It is not of the bad news but of the good news; I had just looked inside its ring and seeing the stuff; I couldn't help but curse out loud, especially seeing those plants packed in special boxes.
This bastard had explored in one room before coming here; it might have directly appeared in that room as I had appeared in the boneyard.
When I brought out all the plants, there are four that had been sensed by my vines. This is the best kind of news; it is even better than finding hundreds of rare and precious plants. These plants I need will be extremely helpful to me in reaching the Tyrant stage.
After going through all its things, I again begin to collect the plants. Most of the plants have remained undamaged, but some of them had been damaged. They are struck by some sparks of thunder, turning to ashes directly.
After collecting all the unprotected plants with the help of Ashlyn, I started to break the formations of protected plants. I want to collect them as soon as possible, in case another Grimm Monster came inside.
Though the broken gate had been restored a few seconds after the Thunder Crockman entered inside, there is no telling another powerful Grimm Monster or human would not try again. Some weak Grimm Monster and humans had tried their hands on it when I was fighting the Thunder Crockman.
It won't be long before someone powerful as the Thunder Crockman or even Elite would try to barge in, and that would make things a little difficult for me.
It is a good thing; I am getting better at breaking this formation, each formation is taking less time than the previous, and within ten hours, I was able to break through the six formations and took out six very precious plants from it.
'Let's get out of here,' I said after I finished collecting all the herbs present in this dome. I again took out the formation ink and drew the formation, and a few minutes later, I was out of the room in an empty hallway, but I could still hear the sound of fighting from above.
I looked at the hallway; there are only two doors with a complete visible rune; I had been through both of them while the other five is beyond me. Of the five, two of them are broken gates against which I do not wish to waste time; they might take an hour to break or ten hours; I do not want to go into uncertainty till I have no choice.
The other three are complete gates; there was not even a single rune that is visible. The only way I could open them is by having a pass, but I do not have it. There is another way, which could bring out the runes, but it is very time-consuming that I want to choose it unless there is something very important inside it.
With nothing for me to do on this floor, I looked at three sets of stairs. Each one seemed to lead to a different place, but wherever they take me, I would not have an easier time as I had on this floor.
