Chapter 1736 - Strings (2/2)

The strings did not take much energy to grow; what nearly emptied my storage was making them fully invisible, so they could not be seen, heard, felt, or sensed. It takes a huge amount of energy and concentration.

”Petty tricks will not help you human!” It said and moves its ax toward me, but the next moment a frown couldnt help but appeared on its face as it found out the speed and power of its attack had been severely affected.

”Die, you bastard!” Rhinoman roared and attack as an aura around it billowed with the rage it is feeling.

Seeing it attacking, my eyes couldn't help but twinkle; the bastard had made the mistake that I had been waiting for it to make; even the smart Grimm Monsters made this. They should forget the mentality of 'killing the originator to get of the problem.'

If this bastard focused on breaking off the strings than attacking me, it would have solved this problem immediately but no like the dumb bastards. It also believed that as long as it killed me, the strings would disappear on its own.

While it is true, the bastard had forgotten to notice several other things, such as the rate the strings are growing as they are consuming its bloodline aura with wild abandon and how hard it is to kill me.

Crack Crack Crack

Its attack crashed on my sword, and just as it did, the cracks in bone my arm begin to widen with great speed that I barely able to hold the sword in my hand.

With the force of its attack, I shot back while vomiting the blood and big pieces of my internal organs.

I am in intense pain, but I am smiling. I had succeeded, the precious few seconds it had used to attack, my vines have grown considerably on its body, feasting on its aura, which has much lesser resistance than its bloodline energy but same as powerful.

”Why are you laughing, you bastard!” The Rhinoman asked as it appeared in front of me and saw my wretched state. ”I have defeated you, you dumb bastard!” I said with a bloodied mouth as I forcefully stopped myself with my invisible wings.

”HAHAHA,” ”You sure like to joke human, you think these puny little strings of yours could stop me,” It asked with launched and moved its hands to grab the strings which had already covered of third of its and spreading fast.

A second later, a frown appeared on its face, which morphed into surprise but shock appeared on its face as no matter how much it tried, it is not able to grab the strings.
