Chapter 1268 - Three Times A Day (1/2)

Professor stopped mid speaking as she looked at the silvery hair; her eyes are so fixated on her that one might feel like she got enchanted by it; maybe she is.

Gasp!

She looked at hair for a few seconds before she took it in her hand; a second after she took the hair in her hands, a gasp rang out in the office. The gasp has not come out from the Professor but from the teacher; she looks at the Professor with wide eyes.

”Josie, your aura.” She said in a whisper-like voice; that is when I notice the aura of the Professor, which is always going high and low like a roller coaster, has now become calm as water.

I failed to notice it as the Professor always keeps her aura on mute; one has to try to put conscious efforts to sense her aura.

”This hair somehow resonates with my bloodline,” Professor said softly, which surprised the teacher, and I, too, put a surprised expression on my face aptly.

It was right; the hair did stabilize her aura somehow, but I wonder why he used 'word' suffering, though. It is quite a heavy world which one did not use lightly.

”Micheal, thank you, you have no idea what this hair means to me,” Professor said as she bound the hair around her wrist.

”Micheal, Ive read your report, but could you elaborate on what you had observed when you entered the Hez forest?” The teacher asked; it is an elaborate way of asking me to tell things that I might have omitted in my report.

I started, and of course, I said what I had written in my report and nothing more. I may trust the teacher very much, but there are some secrets I very much preferred to keep to myself.

”Its just as your report states.” The teacher said while directly looking into my eyes, she is insinuating that I omitted something but did not press. I stayed in her office a few before I walked out of it.

A few minutes later, I landed on my lakehouse's patio and walked directly toward my practice room, where I took out a tub from my storage and filled it with Cosmic Water before dropping a few drops of liquid from the small bottle.

I took off my clothes before slipping into the tub; I would have liked to sleep before going through this painful process but seeing the change my runes had gone through, I did not want to be held behind other aspects.

I want to strengthen my body to the maximum degree; only then will I be able to use my ruins at their full potential.

Twenty minutes later, I stepped out of the tub and walked toward the shower. The refining was painful as usual, but I got used to it, so it did not affect me.

I only wish to use more solutions to refine my Body and Soul, but that will not happen. The veins are too delicate that slight careless could immediately turn me into a cripple.

My current refining is a slow process, but I am getting the results. I have to continue without stopping, and it won't be long before I see the result of that.
