Chapter 1239 - Return (2/2)
A few minutes later, I opened my apartment door and closed it from behind before I opened my holowatch and sent the teacher a mail; it is the most encrypted mail I have and only to be sent in a very specific condition.
With that done, I heaved a sigh of relief and sat on the couch waiting; there will be a person coming in a few minutes.
Knock Knock!
There I was a knock on the door, and when I opened it, I found professor Josephine on the other side. I did not think it would be her; I thought it would be a teacher or one of the old guys from the Academy would come, seeing how she is always moving around.
And there is one surprising thing; she is wearing a dress and not her usual suit, a long black dress with a deep neck and slit around one leg, she looked ravishing that I got lost for a second before I forcefully pulled myself back and welcomed her in.
She must be either at some party or on a date when the teacher had sent her to me.
Ting Ting Ting…
She came inside silently before throwing four silvery balls around the room, which created near-invisible fields in the room.
”So, what extremely important you find to use that mail?” Professor asked as she sat across me; I did not answer the question; instead, I just took out a box that had heavy runes carved all over it, another teacher's gift, and placed it in front of her.
She arched a brow at me in question seeing the box, wanting me to tell her what it is, but I did not; I remained silent. After a few seconds of staring contest, the professor looked at me angrily before taking the box in her hands and before opening it gently on her lap.
Gasp!
As she opened the box, small delicate purple wings revealed themselves; as they did, a loud gasp couldn't help but come out of the professor's mouth, and her face is filled with shock.
She is so shocked that her body is shaking up and down and needed a few minutes to come to herself. There are very few things that could shock a Tyrant Stage powerhouse like her, and these wings are one of those.
”There is no seal on it.” She muttered as she gently touched the wings before she turned to me, ”How do you get it?” She asked, her voice is a little breathless when she asked this question.
I thought for a while before telling her; I did not hide much since she already knew everything about me. She, professor, and that cursing old man, which I think is someone important and not just a guard of Inheritance, knew about my Inheritance's truth.
”I have to say you are very lucky, Micheal, not only because you got the Inheritance, but you got an unsealed Inheritance,” she said.
