Of course, no one expected for them to witness a scene like this. Both Lin Hao and Luo Feng was dumbfounded. Feng Qiang's the only one who wasn't surprised by his Boss' actions. Who would have thought that their sudden visit at ALF will bring his Boss this opportunity to at last meet Zhuang Yue face to face after 7 years?
To be honest, upon entering the CEO's Office, Xia Wei immediately noticed Zhuang Yue. Of course, although he was facing her back, he perfectly knows whose back it is. It was the back of the woman he was looking for 7 years and the woman he ever loves. That's why Xia Wei was taken aback for a while that he stopped from taking another step closer and stared at her.
After a few seconds, Xia Wei didn't really know what happened all he could think of is that he really misses the woman in front of him. The moment Zhuang Yue turn her head to him, he walked towards her and pulled her into an embrace letting his heart take over his own body and do what his heart really wanted to do the moment he saw Zhuang Yue again. Xia Wei hugged Zhuang Yue tightly. No one knows how much he misses the woman he was hugging right now.
Face by Xia Wei's tight hug, Zhuang Yue was taken aback for a while until she finally came to her senses and used all of her strength to push away Xia Wei. After pushing Xia Wei away, she quickly ran using all her might outside the office. After passing by the secretary's desk, Zhuang Yue's feet are starting to hurt from running so, in the end, she decided to take off her high heels and ran barefooted to the elevator without looking back.
Inside the elevator, Zhuang Yue's heart was beating so fast. She really did not expect to see him at ALF right now. Although deep inside she misses him and that she really want to hug him back then when he was hugging her so tight, she still needs to hide her true feelings. Right now, all she could think is to run as far away as possible for now. She was afraid, afraid that she will lose all her reasonings and get back into his arms. She was afraid that if she can't run away right now, she will give in.
Zhuang Yue's mind is in chaos right now. She thought that the next time she met him she will be alright. She prepared herself but her efforts of preparing herself became a waste. She was not ready to meet him. She deceived herself that she will be alright if she met him but it turns out that she is not. Her feelings for him was so deep.
Meanwhile, at the CEO's Office, like Luo Feng, Lin Hao, and Feng Qiang, Xia Wei was also quite surprised because of Zhuang Yue's actions just now. Luo Feng was the first one to snap out of his daze. ”Aren't you going after her?” Luo Feng asked with a teasing smile showing. Xia Wei didn't bother to answer him and called for Feng Qiang. ”Feng Qiang.”
Feng Qiang just finished tapping on his phone when Xia Wei called for him. ”I've already contacted the secretary outside, Boss. She said that Miss Zhuang took the elevator just now and that Miss Zhuang was really in a hurry.”
Of course, right after Zhuang Yue ran out of the office and before Luo Feng break the silence earlier, Feng Qiang already contacted the secretary outside to see which way Zhuang Yue will go. Hearing what Feng Qiang said Luo Feng's mouth twitched while Lin Hao doesn't have any reaction instead he was tapping on his phone like he was typing a message and then when he was done he put his phone back to his pocket. Xia Wei just nodded to what Feng Qiang said.
'This Feng Qiang really suits to be his assistant.' Luo Feng thought.
”You know what to do.” Xia Wei said. Of course, Feng Qiang understood what his Boss meant.
”This subordinate understand, Boss.” Feng Qiang said and then he walked towards Luo Feng. ”Mister Luo, please give an order to the security team on each floor to standby outside each floor's elevator and make sure to guard it.” Feng Qiang calmly said.
Luo Feng knows what he meant so he instructed Lin Hao to contact the security team. Lin Hao quickly did what Luo Feng instructed him to do and just before Feng Qiang could speak again, Xia Wei's cold and devoid of any emotions voice was heard ”Stop all the elevators.”
Around this time, Lin Hao just finished instructing the security team and was about to put his phone inside his pocket again when he heard what Xia Wei said. Lin Hao and Luo Feng were both shocked it was only Feng Qiang who was not shocked because he already expected his Boss to instruct them to stop all the elevators that's why he asked Luo Feng to order the security in each floor to standby outside the elevator of each floor.
”Quick.” Xia Wei impatiently said. This made Luo Feng come back to his senses and did what he was told to because he knows really well the temper of Xia Wei.
