60 Soda and Coffee (1/2)
”Hey, wake up.”
”Even Yang Guang managed to stay awake this today.”
The first thing she saw was the reflection of her round blue eyes on the metallic can of coffee.
Ye Xing sat upright and stretched both of her arms; she saw that everyone was in the meeting room waiting for her to wake up.
Her slender fingers slipped into the can ring pull and with a loud snap the can of coffee opened.
The moment the brown and bitter drink entered her mouth, Ye Xing felt refreshed and signaled that they could start the meeting.
”First off due to the swimsuit café, our lack of funds problem is now officially solved!” Ling Xin Hua said as everyone applauded.
Yet the smile on her face did not last long, she signaled everyone to quiet down and continued the report on their current situation.
”But due to the accident that occurred we are still behind schedule, but we need to check that every single of the steel beams are placed in perfectly first to avoid another incident and that will take some time.”
This time, Yang Guang raised his hands and said: ”I had already done that, after I sent Ye Xing home I came back and make sure everything is fine.”
Ling Xin Hua gave Yang Guang a nod of approval and said: ”For once you are acting like a responsible representative, good job.”
”But that does not change the fact that we are still behind schedule…”
The atmosphere dropped to an all-time low; falling from heaven to hell these five words which describe their situation to a tee.
”This means we will stay back for a few more days…”
Right now to the four of them time is of an essence as they are chasing after a fleeting deadline.
”Arggh! This is making me mad!”
Shockingly the one who loses control is not Yang Guang but Ye Xing, she crazily scratched her head like a monkey.
Ling Xin Hua let out a sigh, she knew that tension was at its highest right now. After the accident, both of the representatives were scolded for their carelessness.
”I think it is best if all of us take a little break.” Ling Xin Hua said as she takes Ye Xing's hand and walked out of the room together.
”Want to share a soda?” Yang Guang asked Liu Zheng Yi as he points at a can of soda placed on the table.
With a nod from Liu Zheng Yi, Yang Guang made his fingers into the shape of a pair of scissors and snipped it shut in the middle of the can.
His actions forced the soda the top and bottom side of the can, creating a seal in the middle. He then ripped a line across the seal and tears a hole on the edge so the soda could flow out.
”Here is your share.” Yang Guang said as he passes half of the soda can to Liu Zheng Yi.
”I think in the world, only you could share a can of soda this way.” Liu Zheng Yi said as he took a sip from the can.
The sound of yawning then traveled into his ears, naturally, he knew who made the sound. Liu Zheng Yi eyes then gazed at Yang Guang who looked extremely tried.
