41 Secret Gear: Mountain Broadsword (1/2)
Yang Dou Wang grabs the handle of the cupboard, with a strong pulls open the cupboard revealing small glass boxes place neatly in a row. Inside each glass box there is some sort of accessories like rings and necklaces.
”The ones at the first three rows are exquisite category secret gears while the ones below are all fine category secret gear, you can pick anything even secret gear at exquisite category so take your pick Yu Chen.”Yang Dou Wang said casually as he did not mind that his secret gear is going to be given to Yu Chen for free.
Yu Chen walks closer to the cupboard as he tries to take a closer look at the secret gears place inside, he notices that there are cards placed behind the glass cases.
”Those are the details of the secret gears, so you won't need to activate each one to see what does it do and look like.” Yang Dou Wang said casually.
Yu Chen nods and continues looking around, finally his eyes stops on a necklaces with a small sword pendent hanging in the middle.
”The Mountain Broadsword? You sure you want this secret gear?” Yang Dou Wang asks Yu Chen hesitantly as the mountain broadsword is only a secret gear at the level of fine category.
”Yes, I can't be that shameless to continue taking things from the Yang family.” Yu Chen said with a dry laugh. He then sends a little bit of secret energy into the necklaces, the blinding light shines into every corner of the room.
BAM
A large grey broadsword crashes down onto the floor, when Yu Chen tries to pick up the mountain broadsword he finds out that it is close to impossible to pick it up easily so he continues to try using the strength of a rank 2 then 3 until he finally manages to hold the mountain broadsword in his hands with his full strength.
”I never thought that the mountain broadsword is this heavy.” Yu Chen said to Yang Dou Wang as he tries to swing the mountain broadsword around.
”HAHAHA You will need at least the strength of a rank 6 to swing this secret gear casually.” Yang Dou Wang said as he looks at Yu Chen who is struggling to hold the broadsword upright, yet Yu Chen did not give up and continues to try and swing the mountain broadsword around.
SWOOSH
A few strands of hair fall down in front of Yang Dou Wang's feet as he stares blankly at Yu Chen. Yang Dou Wang then slowly looks down sees his hair on the floor a bright light flashes in his palm as he summons his Bo staff and strikes Yu Chen on his head.
Yu Chen then left the room quickly and runs downstairs to go and try his new secret gear outside the house; Yang Dou Wang also walks down stairs while thinking to himself. ”His getting dumber recently I should tell Yu Chen to be careful around Yang Guang, stupidity is contagious so I hope you won't catch any off Yang Guang's stupidity.”
Yu Chen opens the door and excitedly swings his mountain broadsword at the front lawn, from left to right up and down. He slashes around to try and get a feel of his new secret gear so he can use it tonight.
”ISN'T THAT THE MOUNTAIN BROADSWORD?!”
Yu Chen suddenly stops practicing and turns around only to see Yang Guang resting his rattan pole on his shoulder while standing at the front gate with a grin on his face under the setting sun.
