122 Endearmen (1/2)

The next morning, Keira was awakened by several rings of her mobile phone…

She lazily grabbed it from her bedside table with eyes still closed.

”Hello…” she answered with a sluggish voice because she was still sleepy.

”Morning!” Zach greeted.

The moment she heard Zach's voice, Keira's eyes widened, as she looked at the wall clock in her room. It's 5:30 in the morning.

'Oh crap!' she mused as she quickly got up.

”Keira? I'm coming in,” said Zach.

”NO!” Keira shouted, but it was too late because she only heard the beeping tone.

”Oh shit!” she cursed as she quickly ran to the bathroom to quickly wash her face and brush her teeth.

She had gone to sleep late last night because of too much excitement and joy that she totally forgot to put an alarm on her phone before dozing off.

Zach usually jogged for thirty minutes if he was not working, so he asked her last night if she would like to join him.

”Keira?” she heard Zach call when she was picking out her jogging outfit from the closet.

”Yeah… I'll be out in a minute…” Keira shouted as she quickly undressed and put on her jogging outfit.

Her hair was still a mess, as she grabbed a scrunchy. She grabbed her socks and shoes and went out of the room.

Zach was waiting for her in the living room. He already opened the curtains. Keira walked towards him and bent down to give him a smacking kiss as she whispered, ”Morning, my General.”

She wanted to squeal but held back herself.

Last night at the cinema, Zach scolded her for being clumsy because she almost tripped even though Zach held her hand inside the dark cinema room, so she accidentally answered him, ”Yes, my General…” and Zach responded to her in a jest, ”Good… my star…”

And at that moment she had finally got the perfect and unique endearment for them both- my general and my star…

However, Zach laughed out hard when she mentioned it when they were already heading home. But seeing her crumpled face he promised her to use it whenever he recalled it.

But just a while ago he totally forgot about it by calling her Keira...

She sat on the opposite side with pouted lips and quickly put down her socks and shoes to fix her hair into a bun.

”I'm sorry, I forgot to put an alarm on my phone,” Keira explained while she was fixing her hair.

She was startled when Zach bent down on the floor in front of her and raised her leg and placed her foot on his knee.

”It's okay, I'll do it,” she said timidly when she saw Zach pick up the socks.

She tried to pull her leg back, but Zach stopped her and put the socks, as well as her shoes, on.

Keira bit her lip as she watched Zach.

'What a sweet boyfriend,' she mused with a smile. She wouldn't mind if Zach forgot the endearment thing as long as he made her feel special like this.

He looked so refreshingly and roughly handsome with his hair all down like bangs. He had no gel on them this time.
