Xia Tianze could tell that Weiai liked Xu Tianchen and the two families had a discussion about an arranged marriage. After all, the two children were similar in age. If they were to end up together, wouldn’t the families be closer than before?

However, he did not know what Xu Tianchen felt towards Weiai. However, he had been trying his best to help when Weiai left home, there was certainly some feelings involved.

“I have known little sister for a long time, of course we have a close relationship.”

Xu Tianchen gave a light smile and replied casually.

He was clear that his father and Uncle Xia had thoughts about an arranged marriage.

Even though he did not love younger sister at that point in time, he certainly did adore her. Perhaps they might really be engaged in the future. However, that would definitely not happen now since she was still young. This had to wait for at least another two years after she graduated from school.

Thinking about this, he looked at Xia Tianze and spoke gently, “Uncle, I came here to see if younger sister had returned. You know that my parents and sister are very worried about her and since she is back now, I should return home to inform them.”

As he finished speaking, he rejected their offer to stay and left.

“This kid Tianchen, even though he is still young he’s so mature. This is why Xu Hao wanted to pass the business over to him right after he graduated! I would be relieved if Weiai married him.”

Xia Tianze praised him as he watched him leave.

After that, he thought about Weiai and sighed as he left.

“Damn it! Nothing actually happened to her.”

Meng Xinlan’s face changed once he left and she cursed under her breath.

“Mom, I thought you told me that she would never return! Yet, not only did she return, she also wants to marry Brother Tianchen.”

Meng Kexin thought about what Xia Tianze said previously and felt jealousy.

Based on what? Wasn’t it just about her background? In terms of looks, she was equally qualified!

Meng Xinlan glanced at Meng Kexin and smiled coldly. “Fight for it if you are capable next time! I have taught you so much these years, if you don’t even have the capability to deal with this, don’t call me mother!”

Hearing this, Meng Kexin was first stunned, but she soon understood what she meant. She gave a sweet smile and said, “Yes, Mummy.”
