“Don’t touch me… Shen Shaobai… I hate you…”

Seeing him wipe away her tears and speaking in a gentle voice, not only did Weiai not stop, she wept even harder.

All her grievances were caused by him!

After a long time, as Shen Shaobai listened to the girl’s cries, he realized that she had no intentions to stay and a look of loneliness appeared in his eyes. He thought about how Ah Yuan mentioned previously that he wanted to help her leave and he promised to give it some thought. However, right at that moment, he had to make a decision earlier than expected.

He sighed and placed his hand on top of her head and then bent forward.

Shi Mei and the maids present watched the scene in front of them in shock.

Under the lights, the beautiful man bent over and kissed the girl’s face.

Weiai opened her eyes wide in shock and stared at the beautiful face in front of her. There was nothing in between them, his brows and eyes were like a beautiful painting. Suddenly, Weiai felt a warm sensation on her face and when she realized what was happening, she froze on the spot.

He was using his lips to kiss away the tears on her face.

Her face flushed.

More than that, she was nervous. Weiai immediately reached her hands out and pressed them on his chest to push him away. However, just when she made a move, Shen Shaobai got up and distanced himself.

Seeing that she had finally stopped crying, Shen Shaobai smiled.

After that, he spoke in a hoarse voice that was no longer as cold as before, “I did not even touch you, why are you crying so hard?”

There were still tears in Weiai’s eyes; hearing him speak, her body shook and she started to sniff her nose, she looked like she was about to cry again.

Shen Shaobai could guess what was about to happen and his brows clustered together as he spoke in a tone as gentle as he could. “Have I said that I won’t let you go home?”

He did not expect that at such a young age, her crying could be so unrelentless and sorrowful.

Hearing his words, Weiai became happy and replied immediately, “You… ugh… what do you mean…”

Perhaps it was because she had been crying for a long time that when she finally stopped to speak, it turned into hiccups.

“What I mean is, do you want to go home with all these injuries? You may go home when your wounds heal.”
