Weiai ran out of the room feeling a mix of emotions.

However, when she was out of the room, she realized that her surroundings were dark and it was easy for people to lose their sense of direction. There was endless darkness on both sides of the corridor, and it was well decorated and resembled a palace.

However, this place was merely a cage to Weiai.

“What is this stupid place?!”

Weiai muttered angrily. As she felt around on the crystal wall, she guided herself forward slowly.

Suddenly, as she approached the end, she heard some footsteps behind her.

Could it be that she was discovered?!

As this thought came across her mind, Weiai became nervous. She couldn’t care less and made a turn at the next corner. However, she was met with a dead-end. There was only one room in front of her, standing there alone as if it was trying to be cut off from the rest of the world.

As she had no time to think, Weiai tried to push open the door and discovered it was unlocked.

Starting to feel a little more relaxed, Weiai entered the room carefully, closed the door softly and kept herself away from the world outside.

Weiai turned around after she stabilized her breathing. As she leaned her back on the door, she observed her surroundings—the lights were not turned on, the room was very dark, and the decoration was simple at a glance.

Weiai reached her hands out to feel for the light switch on the wall.

*Tap*

At that moment, there was a soft sound.

It was suddenly bright in front of her.

The light from the chandelier was directed into her eyes, and Weiai could not help but squint her eyes as she felt uncomfortable. After some time when she finally adjusted herself to the surroundings, she looked up and almost screamed at the sight in front of her!

Damn, was this done on purpose?!

In front of her, an elegant looking man sat on the expensive-looking sofa with his legs crossed. Who else would that be other than Shen Shaobai? She entered this room to hide, yet what she actually did was to land herself into trouble!

“Little sister, why aren’t you coming over?”

Shen Shaobai spoke indifferently to the shocked Weiai, his voice sounding extremely lazy.

He was holding the lighting remote control on his hand; it was obvious that he was the one that turned on the light.

Weiai swallowed carefully, her body tense, and did not reply to him.

What a joke. Was she stupid? No matter how much she hated Shen Shaobai, she was still in his territory.

At that moment, it would be trouble for her if Shen Shaobai realized her identity!

Upon thinking of this, Weiai turned around softly and walked slowly towards the door, step by step, and reached her hand out. As long as she could open the door and get out of this place, it would be fine. However, could someone explain to her what was happening?

She twisted the knob resolutely. However, it did not budge!

Suddenly, Weiai frowned and felt like crying. Why were the heavens playing with her, what sins did she commit in her previous life that such that retribution would fall upon her!

“Little Sister!”

Shen Shaobai repeated himself impatiently after not receiving a reply for a long time.

Hearing this, Weiai became more anxious. However, the door was still shut tight. It was impossible to open it.

Without a choice, she could only give up for the time being.

She summoned up her courage and turn around and stared at Shen Shaobai. Under the reflection of the chandelier, his beautiful face radiated an enchanting glow. He sat there in a capricious manner and had already thrown the remote control aside, holding a goblet in his hand and twirling it around.

Honestly, it was a very simple move. Yet, he added elegance to it.

After pausing for a moment, Weiai moved towards him.

If she continued to drag this on, he might realize that something was amiss and order someone to enter the room. Then, not only would she not be able to make her escape, he might even assault her again. This would be big trouble for her!
