Jeremy and Riley left us to our privacy, and closed the bedroom door.

”Hey, Lori... sorry baby. Please don't cry. I'm just still fuming. Why would you leave me? Why wouldn't you answer my calls and texts? I was worried about you. Million things could happen to you, I care about you. You have to know that, okay?”

He pulled me into his embrace, I felt safe already. His warmth, his heart beat, the smell of his expensive cologne. He felt like home. He smelled like home.

”I'm sorry. I should've text you that I'm safe. I just... I just couldn't face you. I'm such a mess, I never have this. This feeling is too intense for me. And with our contract, there's just so much that I could vent. I'm bursting, trying to hold all I have for you. But I couldn't, I'm so sorry.” I rest my cheek on his chest, as he kept on holding me close to him.

”I like you Lori, I do have feelings for you. Do not think less of yourself. You're a very beautiful young woman. I'm twenty years older than you baby, I'm being realistic here. You should know me by now.” He cupped my cheek and kissed me, I was melting under his kisses and moaning his name already.

”Now, will you come home with me please? I should thanked Jeremy for calling me. I didn't even want to know how he found my private number.”

”No you don't want to know about that. He works for the government, he's one of the good guys. That's all you need to know.” I smiled at him and taking his hand. He carried my bags and we said our goodbyes to Jeremy and Riley.

”So, no more fleeing from me again okay? I never ever left clients over a woman before. You just cost me a lot of money baby.” He closed the door and dropped my bags on the floor.

”But you're worth it Lori. I don't know. There's something about you that makes me craves you, more and more.” He stroked my cheek and kissed me.

”I know, I'm so sorry James. Jeremy already lectured me about leaving you too, I was stressed out I guess turned out it's my period. I tend to be more sensitive and extra mad. I didn't realized it, so yeah. Sorry about that.” I smiled at him sweetly.

”Hmmm....I was hoping ending this discussion the usual way.” He chuckled as he trailed kisses to my neck down to my breasts making gasped.

”But I'm just glad you're safe with me now. Let's just get to bed okay? You and I need to rest. It has been a long day.” I whined at him making him laughed.

Damn him! Damn this period thing!

He spooned me to sleep that night, and I finally fell asleep with a smile on my face.

”Morning baby.” He had already showered and handed my coffee, and kissed the top of my head.

”So, it's Sunday and we got nothing on our schedule since your period conveniently screwed us. Do you want to go to the vineyard and do some wine tasting? I need to check on the place and looked at the clerical work. It's been a while for me.”
