357 A Bad Feeling 9 (2/2)

”Shall we?” Su Zhinian raised his hand that held the wine glass and pointed at the balcony.

”Okay,” Qin Yinan answered and signaled for Su Zhinian to go first.

Su Zhinian nodded with thanks before walking toward the balcony. Qin Yinan grabbed two glasses of red wine from the passing waiter and quickly made to follow.

As the door to the balcony closed, the area became silent and private; it was a good place to chat.

Qin Yinan walked to Su Zhinian's side and offered him a glass of wine. ”Here.”

Su Zhinian lowered his head to look at his own almost empty wine glass and shook his head. ”I don't drink.”

Qin Yinan was startled. He glanced at the glass in Su Zhinian's hand and realized the clear liquid in it wasn't white wine but water.

Qin Yinan didn't comment on it but placed one of the wine glasses in his hands on the table. Then, he took a generous sip out of the other. Noticing Su Zhinian's silence, he asked, ”CEO Su, what do you wish to discuss with me?”

Su Zhinian stared right ahead as if he hadn't heard Qin Yinan or he was considering how to begin.

Qin Yinan, with his patience, didn't say anything to rush him but stood there quietly and waited.

After about five minutes, Su Zhinian finally retracted his gaze to look at Qin Yinan. Then, he raised the glass to his lips and finished the final bit of water left in it before saying, ”I wish to talk to you about Song Qingchun.”
