The crisp music finally allowed her heart to settle down.

Tang Yu came back in the morning. Originally, he didn’t plan on coming but when his car passed by, for some unexplainable reason, he came up anyway. After showering, he changed. By then, it was already 6:30am.

Pei Qiqi had no sign of waking up so he watched her sleep.

As for his new pet, she extended out a hand and grabbed onto the music box carefully.

Tang Yu silently chuckled then frowned. He checked out the time. He had a meeting with a CEO from the US at 7:00 am. Yet right now, he was here watching his pet being fast asleep.

He left quickly with a cold expression… he must be crazy.

When Pei Qiqi woke up, it was already almost 8:00am. She jumped out at once and quickly brushed up. When she was about to leave with her purse, she saw the breakfast on the table. It was oriental style!

Her heart felt warm as she picked up a bun. She ate as she walked. Luckily, she wasn’t late for school today.

These past few days had truly been tiring. To work and to study made her basically sleep through her class. Chen Xinjie helped cover her face with a textbook and whispered, “Qiqi, if this is too much, then stop working. Look at how skinny you’ve gotten just for some money.”

Pei Qiqi touched her face, “really?”

Chen Xinjie rolled her eyes, “Even the way you were walking this morning didn’t look normal. You must’ve been tortured. Qiqi, I’ve thought about it, that job is truly a sweatshop. Let’s quit. Tomorrow, I’ll find you an easier job.”
