Qin Yi thought for a while and said softly, ”It seemed that the servant was complaining that the number of people in the Palace was fewer, but the weight of the vegetable transported every day was not reduced.”
”Fewer people? The weight of vegetable was not reduced?” Luo Qingyan frowned and murmured. After a short silence, her eyes lit up. ”I see.”
Then he said to Qin Yi and Qian Zhuo, ”I'll go to the study to deal with something. When Her Highness wakes up, let her come to the study and I have something to discuss with her.”
After Qin Yi and Qian Zhuo nodded, Luo Qingyan stood up and went downstairs.
At dusk, Yun Shang finally woke up. When she asked Qin Yi to come in and serve her up, she was still in a daze. Qin Yi helped her put on her shoes. Thinking that Yun Shang wouldn't go out as it was already dark, Qin Yi chose a green slip skirt from the chest and put it on Yun Shang. Then she made her a bun casually and inserted the lotus hairpin into the bun.
”His Highness has returned home. He asked you to go to the study when you wake up. He said he had something to discuss with you.” Qin Yi said softly after making the final adjustment for Yun Shang.
Hearing this, Yun Shang stood up in a hurry with joy on her face. ”Well, I also have something to tell him.” Then she was about to go out.
”Don't hurry, your highness. You haven't had dinner yet. I've asked someone to boil red bean soup for you. You should eat first.” Qin Yi said. Then a maid came in with a tray, on which there was a bowl of red bean soup. Yun Shang picked up the bowl and drank it up quickly. She put down the bowl and went downstairs in a hurry.
As Yun Shang's belly had been big, she couldn't see the steps under her feet when she went downstairs. Seeing that Yun Shang walked fast, Qin Yi was anxious and hurried to catch up with her. ”Slow down, your highness. Be careful when you walk. Don't fall.”
Yun Shang smiled and waved her hand.
Yun Shang didn't know which study Luo Qingyan was in. When she checked the study next to the stairs and found Luo Qingyan was indeed there, as if he was giving orders to a secret guard. For some reason, as soon as Yun Shang stood at the door of the study, Luo Qingyan turned to her and smiled. ”You're downstairs? Have you eaten anything?”
Yun Shang walked in with a smile and nodded, ”I just had a bowl of red bean soup and the dinner will be ready soon.”
Luo Qingyan nodded slightly and said, ”Sit down for a while. I'll talk with you when I'm done.”
”Okay.” Yun Shang replied obediently and sat down on the chair. Seeing this, Luo Qingyan turned around and continued to talk to the secret guard.
