19 CHAPTER NINETEEN (1/2)

AMAYA'S POV

Malia is sweet alright? But God she's trouble.

She's been dragging me around this supermarket for hours, I told her I have my clothes already and I'm okay with them.

Although I didn't pick any of the clothes Chase bought for me, I made sure to leave everything behind.

But she's giving me this silly excuse that people around have to dress in some kinda way and although I know she's lying just so she can get me to buy some things but seriously I have no say right now.

”Oh no I'm not picking that, for God sake you've spent too much for me Malia” I say as she looked at this trousers that were hung right in front of us.

”You promised me you'd get anything I asked you to, considering this was my welcome gift to you, pleeeesaee” she pleaded giving me this puppy face.

”Okay, but the last one okay, please Malia?” I pleaded in return and she nodded like a frog. Making her look cute and I laughed.

We went ahead to pick the trousers and seriously we had like 6 big bags full of clothes, where on earth am I going to put them?

As if that wasn't enough, she took me to this salon to get my hair done and for once I didn't argue because I wanted to change my hair anyway.

”How would you like it to look Miss?” I was asked by the hair dresser behind me, touching my hair.

”All black”

”Ooohh that's goood”

We went ahead to dye my hair full length black and I loved it so much.

”Please tell me that's all” I pleaded and Malia just laughed.

”You're so sweet to be around with , come on let's go”

We drove to the restaurant and it was magnificent.

How could she make this huge business so big.

It was like in the movies, big and very fancy. They were people everywhere, waiters and waitresses walking to and from, busy here and there.

”Wow Malia, this is wonderful” I say as I swallow the beautiful view before me and to be honest it was more than what I expected.

”Thank you Amaya, can you cook very well?” She asks and I smile.

”I can try” I reply raising my shoulders and she smiles.

She lead me to her office, we talked about how I was going to start and everything, and she said I had to undergo a test and I was okay with it.

I was given my apron and the ingredients I was to use for what I was cooking.

I've never made a British food but my test was to make something out of the ingredients provided for me.

when it comes to American food, the country is best known for the stuff that's described by words better suited to greasy, grinding industrial output. But citizens of the USA have an impressive appetite for good stuff, too.

So i decided to make French bouillabaisse, cioppino, a fish stew with an Italian flair.

Cooked in a tomato base with wine and spices and chopped fish.
