Stepping out of the rocks, Yang Xie looked at the cave's entrance, on his guard. There were a lot of these ants, but he did not know what was strange about them, and it was better not to provoke them.

Thinking about that, Yang Xie decided to leave the place, if he alarmed the Ant under the ground, the consequences would be dire.

Just as Yang Xie was about to take action, he was startled. Without hesitation, he disappeared from his original position and hid behind the giant stone once again. At the same time, he retracted his Qi and stared at the passage ahead.

Just as Yang Xie was about to hide, a figure suddenly appeared from within the tunnel.

When he saw that the one who came was the friar, Yang Xie's expression shook. Just now, when he heard the activity coming from the distance, he thought that it was some kind of Demonic Beast.

When Yang Xie saw who it was, his face immediately revealed a look of shock.

What appeared in Yang Xie's line of sight, was actually a middle-aged man. The man was dressed in a cyan robe, and judging by his aura, he was impressively a profound strength cultivator.

A mere friar with The sky is perfect was basically nothing in his eyes. What truly shocked Yang Xie was that this person was actually one of the friar's people who were sitting with him on the 'Cloud Boat'!

Back then, when everyone had their greed for him, Yang Xie had swept a glance through all the friar s. Even though he did not completely memorize every single one of them, he did roughly remember them.

”What's going on? Why did this person come here? Could it be that other than me, there are others who escaped from the Black-Eyed Golden-Eyed Eagles and fell into the canyon? ” Yang Xie frowned, he never thought that those people from back then would actually be able to escape from the hands of the Black-Eyed Golden-Eyed Eagles, and come to the canyon.

Or could it be that in order to avoid the Black-Eyed Golden-Eyed Eagles, these people were forced to enter the canyon?

If that was the case, it was likely that more than one person would survive.

”But, why would this person enter this underground space?” Yang Xie was puzzled. Logically speaking, in this kind of unknown place, those who were cautious would not rashly go in there.

However, Yang Xie was unable to figure out why he entered this place, or where he had come from.

Just as Yang Xie was feeling anxious and alarmed, the man swept his eyes over the melting hole's surroundings. When he found the deep hole in the corner, his eyes lit up, and he quickly walked over.

When he arrived at the entrance of the cave, the man grabbed a handful of dirt. He gently brushed it off and revealed a happy expression. He immediately took out something from his bosom. It was a strange, inky black fragrance that was an inch long.

After the man took out the incense, a bright red flame appeared on his fingertip. With one flick, the strange jet-black incense was lit on fire. He then stuck it into the hole and retreated several dozen feet, holding his breath.

Seeing that, Yang Xie's heart trembled, although he did not know what the incense was, but looking at his appearance, he was obviously not a good person, immediately causing his entire being to stop breathing, and watch quietly.

After the man lit up the black incense, after a few moments, sounds of commotion could be heard, followed by red ant s crawling out from the hole, as though they had smelled something extremely excited, all of them crawling towards the black incense.

In the blink of an eye, there were already hundreds of them surrounding the black aroma. They were densely packed in a row and there were even a steady stream of red ant crawling out from them.

No one knew why, but after inhaling the fragrance, the red ant s seemed to have become drunk on the surface with their bodies covered in faint Red light s, making them look extremely strange.

A moment later, the fragrance filled the entire melting hole, and over ten thousand red ant were sprawled on the ground, either unconscious or for some reason, unmoving.

Seeing this, the azure-dressed man quickly took out another item from his bosom. It was a bag of brown powder. After taking it out, the azure-dressed man waved his hand.

In the blink of an eye, a cloud of dust exploded in the air and fell down like rain.

Seeing the powder, Yang Xie's face changed. From the strange aroma, he could already tell that it was not a good item, but the brown powder looked even stranger, so how could Yang Xie let it stick to his body.

Suddenly, the Spiritual Qi in his body circulated and quietly covered the surface of his body in a layer of light, blocking out the powder.

Under Yang Xie's attentive gaze, he saw that when the red ant touched the brown powder, it would let out a blood-curdling screech, and its body started to quickly melt.

Within the span of a few breaths, it turned into a puddle of water and disappeared.

Seeing that, Yang Xie's pupils shrank, secretly glad that he made a defense, if not, once he was touched by the powder, he would not be able to protect himself from being melted.

In the blink of an eye, over ten thousand red ant had been annihilated by the powder, but in the process, the red ant did not resist at all, and did not even move. Yang Xie knew, that it was probably because of the black aroma.

After all the red ant died, the man's eyes revealed a look of joy, and he quickly extinguished the half burnt black incense. Looking at the remaining half of the black incense, his eyes revealed a pained look, and he carefully kept it.
