The mountains were chained in an undulating fashion; the trees were flourishing.
Xue Ying appeared in the world at this level. He stood at the peak of a mountain and observed the world. This was the fourth level world in the Star Pagoda. Xue Ying had once failed to get past this level when he was in the Origin Birth realm.
“I am here.” Xue Ying’s gaze landed midair in the distance.
“Chi chi chi~” Deep within the mountain range, many blood light strands were rushing out before gathering at a point far away. Eventually, the strands of light transformed into a living creature of some other race wearing blood armor. His skin was dark, and it felt like he was made of a black metallic cast. He also had black hair which was tied into hundreds of little pigtails.
The blood-armored living creature tilted his head slightly. That lone gray eye of his was observing Xue Ying: “Have you become stronger? Are you finally here to re-challenge me?”
He was emitting an aura which caused the world laws to slightly distort. It seemed he was born to destroy everything.
“Can I ask where you originated from?” Xue Ying asked.
“You aren’t qualified to know.” The blood-armored creature gave a wicked laughter, “It is better for you to die now.”
“Hong!”
He suddenly let out terrifying ripples. These ripples swept across in all directions. Every single ripple contained an ominous aura, and every location which was swept across by the ripples–even though they seemed to be unaffected by any destruction, the flowers and grasses on the mountain had withered, and the leaves on the trees swiftly turned yellow before falling. The world at this level rapidly turned into a desolate and harsh environment.
As the ripples swept towards Xue Ying, it stopped moving just beyond 500 kilometers away. Xue Ying’s law domain had become much stronger now.
“Interesting. Things are getting more interesting.” The blood-armored creature knew that his original plan was ineffective, and decided to give it up. He decided to just engage in a direct combat with Xue Ying!
“Sou.”
He immediately disappeared.
Xue Ying calmly stood where he was on the mountain peak. Nevertheless, the 500 kilometers region around him had fallen into silent darkness. Xue Ying then turned to a direction where a figure had appeared. It was the figure of that blood-armored living creature–he had teleported over. Currently, that creature could still move within Xue Ying’s law domain, but it was at speed much slower than before. Under the suppression of the law domain, the other party could barely display 10% of his strength.
“Die.” Xue Ying let out a thought.
“Hu.”
A dark world with a diameter of 5,000 kilometers descended from nothingness. It turned from illusion into reality and was rapidly absorbing the world energy around it.
The blood-armored creature looked at the descending dark world. This pitch black world was desolate, yet the blood-armored being could feel that behind this silent fermenting world was incomparably horrifying destruction. This caused his expression to change. He originally thought that this brat had just stepped into the Unity realm, and it would not be that difficult to defeat him. But apparently, he was way off the mark.
‘The previous time I saw him, he was still at the Origin Birth realm. How long had it been since he broke through? And now, he can easily kill me already? An Elder of the Great Void Heaven Temple should not be able to cultivate that fast right?’ The blood-armored creature contained some slight unwillingness as he rushed towards Xue Ying with great effort. Nevertheless, he was traveling really slowly at this moment.
The dark world wrapped around this blood-armored creature. It soon began shrinking! At the moment it shrank to a diameter of 100 meters, it was like a massive bubble with the blood-armored creature trapped at its center trying to fly away.

The explosion of the dark bubble caused the entire energy of the world destruction to land on the blood-armored creature. The blood-armored creature could only stare at Xue Ying before it collapsed and disappeared. During that explosion, the creature returned back into its original form of blood strands that tunneled back into the mountains.
“Time to go to the fifth level.” Xue Ying did not find it puzzling. After all, from the experiences of Dark World Master, the first style–Dark Bubble–sufficed for Xue Ying to get through even the fifth level Star Pagoda. Naturally, it was quite simple to get through the fourth level.

Getting through the fifth level of Star Pagoda meant many things. Getting through it indicated that Xue Ying would have reached the boundary of a Primal Chaos realm expert. It represented that he would be unparalleled amongst those at the Unity realm! As for getting through the sixth and seventh level? That had happened in history, and in the current era, there was none at the Unity realm who could get through the seventh level. In the Great Void Heaven Temple, anybody who got through this level was an Inner Hall Elder.

The thunder was gathering in a distant region, and it was comparatively much more peaceful where Xue Ying was at.
